It’s a lovely place to stay as long as you do NOT get a room on the third floor or higher on the water side. The restaurant below is blaring LOUD merengue music from dawn to midnight and although we asked them to lower the volume or turn it up off twice, they did not do so. They said they would twice. It’s unbearable and we cannot sleep. We are Marriott executive status and we will be complaining to corporate regarding this hotel.

I recently stayed at Rumbao Hotel, and while some aspects impressed, others fell short. Pros: •⁠ ⁠Delicious food •⁠ ⁠Clean and well-maintained pool Cons: •⁠ ⁠Slow service: We arrived at 7 pm for dinner but didn't eat until 9 pm. •⁠ ⁠Limited elevator access: Only one elevator worked, causing long wait times and safety concerns. •⁠ ⁠Not kid-friendly: Due to various reasons, I wouldn't recommend staying here with little children.

Near vibe with an old landmark hotel, big spiral staircase was cool. Restaurant was good as was the bartender. Would recommend the breakfast package, huge section of breakfast items and everything was good.
