Pretty, high ceilings on our 2nd floor rooms. My favorite part was buying a s’mores kit for $15 in the lobby and enjoying them by the fire pit in the evening with my family. The sound of the ocean right behind you was very special.

Bellissimo inn composto da vari cottage su due piani. Camera molto bella, grande e confortevole. Letto comodissimo, penso il migliore dove io abbia dormito! La vista sull’oceano è da togliere il fiato. Non abbiamo usato la piscina perché c’era troppo freddo.

Amazing Hotel right by the Ocean. Beautiful, Cozy, walking distance from Pismo beach boardwalk. Great welcoming staff. If you are traveling with a dog, this is it.

Great little quaint property by the ocean. Friendly staff - Rooms have fire places and there are heat lamps by the poolside if you want to enjoy the evening. Room was clean… only downfall was that there wasn’t any food / beverage offered without a fee. We did buy coffee at their dining area, but didn’t buy any food or snacks. Other than that, beautiful place to stay!

Happy at Cottage Inn by the Sea
Our family, 5 kids, 2 parents and 1 set of grandparents stayed in 3 rooms. The location was ideal and so close to the ocean. We loved the fire pits and the chance to make s’mores. Our kids loved the pool as well. It felt like a vacation. It was quick drive to anywhere in Pismo and Arroyo Grande. Thankful to have gone and time for our family.

A great place to stay! Our room was on the second floor and had tall vaulted ceilings, a working gas fireplace, and beautiful views of the ocean. All of that for just over $200 a night (so a great deal!). We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Pismo.

I liked that I had every option in my room.(ie Mini-fridge, microwave, blow dryer) I also liked the cottage appeal but I did notice some water damage in some areas of the bathroom. I would’ve liked an ac unit in my room.
