Avoid ground floor rooms
Very disappointed... started well as the Edgewater has a great location by the beach and near the pier. My trip was going great until the second night...I was assigned a ground floor room and had no issues with noise the first night. But on the second night there were several people in the room right above me who woke me up and kept me up with constant stomping around, slamming doors and moving chairs and tables around in their room. They sounded like a herd of buffalo...I couldn't get back to sleep and the night attendant did little to help. The location is the best part of this property and I can see why people choose it... but I highly recommend you specify a room on the top floor to avoid what happened to me.

We have stayed here 3 times now and it is a great motel for the price. Just steps from the beach, clean, kind staff, and the breakfast is much better than last year. The staff is excellent and very attentive. Nothing fancy, but clean and well kept for sure! And hot coffee all day!
