We had a recently remodeled room and it was great. We had stayed here before and the rooms were dated. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. The FREE breakfast is fantastic. We had a room in the back of the property near a little creek. Quiet & peaceful. Super convenient if you’re visiting Cal Poly.

Poor Internet service
When I checked in I was given the code for internet service, and hoped to be able to log on quickly for an on line conference. A page popped up immediately stating that I was required to log in with my credit card information. As I had given my credit card information at the front desk, I considered this a bit odd, but it was my first time a Quality suites, so I went ahead with the requested information. THIS WAS A SCAM. An attempt was made to charge my credit card to two unknown websites, IBILA and MINDXIR.COM, both of which are known to be fraudulent and/or questionable websites. This required me to cancel my credit card and report fraudulent activity to my CC provider, with a new card being issued. I don't know if the hotel is aware of this fraudulent pop-up window, but they should be.

The property is in close proximity to SLO downtown area; the area is quiet and serene with several nice restaurants to choose from; the room is clean with nice layouts. The landscape is beautiful; the afternoon pool BBQ is a nice surprise with very reasonable charges of the items offered. Staff are all very courteous and helpful. Breakfast has nice made to order selections; we enjoyed our stay and will return when we are in the area again.
