We chose this hotel upon recommendation from our tour guide and we were very pleasantly impressed. The many interior courtyards give you a cozy and intimate feeling. The room we had was beautiful, perfectly clean, spacious and the stone walls are stunning. It's located in the old part of the city, so you walk thru a maze of narrow alleys when going in or out. It really adds to the charm of this place. Very HIGHLY recommend the Kalihura Butik Hotel if you stay in Sanliurfa.

This is a really nice place to stay. Beautiful rooms and lovely courtyards planted with grapes figs and pomegranates. Mohammed was very helpful with whatever I asked for. Generous breakfasts. Quiet place. I loved it.

Good hotel. I requested 1 King Bed and 1 Double Bed when booking but when we arrived they said they had already checked someone else into that room which was disappointing. Otherwise an excellent stay.

Exceptional place to stay
Our stay at Kaliruha was wonderful. The hotel was designed well in converting old stone homes into a charming hotel. The accomodations were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The AC was more than sufficient to keep the room comfortable despite the high heat outside. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The outside courtyards were great for sitting and chatting in the evening.

It was one of the most fascinating and historical places I have ever stayed. Well decorated and restorated room. Very comfy beds, very well natural air and AC and nice room with historical details. The hotel offers a car park which you can reqch your room in 3 min. Closeby many historical places in a nice walking distance. Definetely the first option to stay in Şanlıurfa

Such a nice hotel with weak management skills. I believe they have good intentions but for better communication they need to be educated. With my private car I spent 45 minutes to reach to the hotel while my google map and waze were showing 5 minutes. All the streets are very narrow and the navigation kept trying me to use the narrow streets. And the hotel blames me that I don’t have a local number which I don’t have to have it. They supposed to call me from my overseas number and explain the procedure which is parking somewhere else and walking to hotel that were 200 metres away NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! I know it’s an issue but they have to mention when we were booking !!!

We had a great stay at Kaliruha. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the traditional building almost felt like a tourist attraction by itself. As it is tucked away, it was very quiet, but also right near all of the old town attractions. The breakfast was great, and the manager was really welcoming and helpful.

Superb choice for the historic centre
Look no further if you want to stay in the historic centre. Modern hotels can be in soulless locations miles from the main sights. And old town hotels can be damp and unwelcoming in winter. The Kaliruha is therefore a special find. The rooms are stunning but they are also warm and inviting. The wonderful bazaar and other main sights are well within walking distance. And above all the welcome is warm and the support excellent. Highly recommended. For a cheap and fun arrival, take the airport bus to the last stop, buy a bus ticket from the security booth at the bus station to the south (50m). Look over the main road and you will see a 63 bus waiting to take you to within 200m of the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here.Directions off hotel right to the parking area where excellent.Check in was smooth and we were soon in our room. This was lovely, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good,and plenty of it. All the staff were pleasant and Baris is a very nice fella and nothing was to much trouble for him.

Dear all, Receptionist was a great men. We are happy to know him. Thanks Mr. Barıs. I would give 5 stars to Barıs however the bathroom in the room was smelling terrible. We couldn’t take a shower. The owner should take care of the bathroom smell immediately. I have seen one more comment about the issue and I would like to highlight it here that the smell was disgusting. Rest was okay. Amazing stay in Old Town
Amazing stay. Barish was excellent in making us feel like family. With a little Turkish, a little English and Google translate, we were able to converse as friends. Always supportive and helpful with an offer of chai, the staff is wonderful! Barish was even able to set us up with a driver for Gobeklitepe and helped several days. Our room was beautiful and clean. We loved staying in the old town to walk around to the bazaar and Abraham holy site. So many good things to say. We will return. Tessikir ederim.

Peaceful oasis in the old city near best bazaar.
Wonderful oasis in the old city, the breakfast is beyond great, the courtyards are so peaceful to eat, read and relax in after a hectic visit to the local bazaars were some the best deals in Turkey cam be had on many local tradecrafts. The owner sent a video for getting to the parking area as this location can be driven to directly but is within a 2-3 minute walk of a large parking area.

I normally never leave a review however, the Kaliruha hotel and the area that it was located was quite remarkable. The hotel is located in the old city of Ṣanlı Urfa, after the Taxi dropped us off from the airport we walked approximately 600' (200m) through the old city's narrow and historical streets. The hotel is beautifully designed, reflecting the historical side with it's architecture and it's courtyards. The comfortable and modern rooms provide an excellent way to relax after a long day at Göbekli Tepe. I highly recommend this hotel as it is walking distance to most of the historical areas and dining options. It is clean, professionally managed and the amazing breakfast that they offer in their courtyards is delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional & Special Thanks to Ilyas and Mazi at the reception. PS: We also recommend Cevahir for dining options. Best kebab I ever had in my life.

We arrived in the dark and the rain, didn't realise there was a 200m walk down cobblestone alleyways with our suitcases. Luckily our taxi driver spoke to the hotel and they came to meet us or I'm not sure we would have found the place! The room was very small, staff spoke very little English, we had to ask for a change of towels on the 3rd day and for our rubbish to be emptied, The power went off twice for half an hour when showering, the hot water took 10ins to actually get hot but was then good, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, on the 2nd day of mentioning it to reception I was handed a piece of double sided tape which worked for nearly 2 days before falling off. The breakfasts were amazing, even though finding the room they were in was a bit of guess work. The staff were really helpful at fixing my suitcase wheel that had fallen off (before getting to the cobblestones). We were expecting 5 star based on reviews, it was definitely only a nice 3

There were electric shortage for at least 10-15 minutes every night while our stay and the A/C didn't work during the power outage making the room very cold. There wasn't any hangers for coat or pants etc. so you have to keep everything in your luggage making it difficult to store them. Other than these Urfa has so many historical places and museums etc. making the place a must-see place.
