Brisas Del Mar was the perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara! We loved having access to the free bikes so that we could sight see easily, the lobby had SO many amenities and a free breakfast, and the rooms were super cute with great beds! The dvd players were an extra nice touch as well :) my only complaint was the early cut off for the hot tub. We had a nice dinner and wanted to use the pool facility, and found out it closes at 10 or 11pm. I understand for safety they shut it down at night, but it should still be accessible with a precursor to swim at your own risk. Other than that, can’t wait to come back!!!

The property exceeded every expectation. The hotel is run for the guest, not for the owners maximum profit. So many personal touches from the cheese, crackers, and wine, bikes available, to a terrific continental breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious. It will be the only place we’ll stay in Santa Barbara .

Lovely Stay
The Brisas is a very charming hotel with lovely amenities...very nice continental breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour and a great location for walking around downtown Santa Barbara. The only negative I can say is there are a lot of stairs and I did not see an elevator anywhere. If you have difficulty with carrying luggage up stairs it could be problem. Also, our VIP gift from Hotels.com was a bottle of champagne. Nice gesture, but it was so terrible we couldn't drink it.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The staff was friendly and very informative. We loved the location, and the bed was comfortable in our room. We walked down to the water and State Street for dinner. We will definitely be back.

The stay was great. Close to everything if you like walking and enjoying learning as you explore. This was a little family weekend trip and we went to the zoo, harbor had great seafood and our last day was spent at the mission and shopping. They have great breakfast and happy hour. The staff was friendly with the exception of the manager Sunday morning. I kindly asked if we could check out a little later as we needed a few minutes. He sighed and said it’s fine but make it quick.
