I will return to the Franciscan! Very good location, im great area. 1 1/2 block from water & harbor meant quieter night ( not by harbor main street) . Even had bicycles for guests use.

Staff is amazing! Very professional and very kind. Ben at the front desk is outstanding and very knowledgeable for tourism and places to see around SB. Most pools at Hotels are not heated. The pool was amazing with the temperature being perfect! Rooms are clean and very nice. Amenities are excellent!

Lovely property in a lovely neighborhood. Breakfast is a really nice touch. Near the Funk Zone, State Street, and the beach. I'd stay there again happily.

What a wonderful experience staying at the Franciscan. Ben welcomed us on a Saturday everning, as we drove in from being in Solvang, all day. He was welcoming, so informative with things we could do in Santa Barbara and gave us all the details that would make our stay even better. The morning breakfast was the cherry on top. Absolutely staying here again and recommended- highly.

Decent price for the location, not a lot of frills or thrills just a clean room and comfortable beds. Very simple rooms with not a lot of furniture or extras. Location is ideal to walk everywhere near the shops and harbor and pier. They should add that their pool is heated because we would have brought Boardshorts had it been advertised.

Nice recently renovated room with a small sitting space outside. Could use some decor on the walls but maybe they don't have the decorating completed. A short walk to the water and marina.
