I liked that it’s very near the Boardwalk but very few amenities. No ice machine was working. Understaffed. Check-in was super slow. Staff was nice but overwhelmed. No towels in pool area. We had to ask staff to provide because towel stand was empty. The hotel itself was clean and new which we liked but we had a towel that had a stain on it which housekeeping should have noticed when they stocked the bathroom towels. Didn’t like that you had the use your key to turn on the lights.

Everything about this hotel is modern. Service is great with all the amenities you would expect from a Marriott. Our stop here was just an overnight before moving on. My only complaint would be that the drive in to check in needs to be marked better. We went around the block approximately 4 times before pulling into the valet parking, which is under the hotel.

Great location, Good Pool Hours
The pool was great - it's heated and has great hours/its open really early. Amazing location - super closer to the boardwalk, with great views of the boardwalk too. The only bummer was that our room was not ready for another 45 mins after check in , which is already a pretty late check-in time (4pm) which made it really inconvenient. We booked the king suite, which was great - great size. The sofa didn't have the necessary linens but staff brought it pretty quickly. The restaurant wasn't open which was too bad, because it would have been great to have a drink while waiting for room past check-in time.

We had a great stay at Courtyard Marriot. The only issue was that our room was NOT ready for check-in at the scheduled check-in time and we had to wait about a half hour to access our room. The pool was nice. The Firepit area was a nice amenity.

Horrible experience
The stay was horrible. The room smelled so bad we had to change it. The second room they gave us smelled horrible too. We had allergic reaction to beds because they probably never wash the pillows or the comforter.
