Our GPS could not find the hotel due to Expedia forwarding the abbreviated name of the street on which
the inn is located. A call to the hotel's front desk resulted in the appearance, within minutes, of a staff member in his car,
ready to guide us to the hotel and help us park.
We were able to converse in English with the multi-lingual family that owns the hotel, and found them to be helpful and hospitable.
Our room had shutters opening on to a balcony, giving us a lovely view of a medieval street and a glimpse mountains in the background. The room was not as modern as the pictures made it seem, but it was comfortable and immaculate. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout the building, and free parking on the Piazza was a bonus.
The breakfast offerings were the usual; nothing special. However, in the evening the restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinners with hearty portions, at fair prices. The house wine is a bargain.
