Great, but…

The location was great—just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The house was clean upon arrival, which we appreciated. The door code was a bit confusing at first, but we figured it out quickly. Communication with the host could have been better, as responses weren’t very prompt.After driving 15 hours, it was tough that check-in wasn’t until after 4pm—we arrived around 10am and had to find ways to kill time while feeling cramped and exhausted. We reached out to see if we could check in early, and the host told us to check back after 1pm. When we did, we were told the property still wasn’t ready.That was frustrating because we had actually parked in the driveway and waited for several hours, and during that time, we didn’t see anyone come or go from the property. At exactly 4pm, the code changed and we were finally able to get in. It seemed clear that the house had been ready well before then, which made the long wait even more disappointing. It felt like the host wasn’t fully aware of the cleaning schedule, which unfortunately impacted our experience.

The perfect home for our stay

I appreciated absolutely everything about this home. It looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean, and had nice furniture and decorations. The location was great, with just a short walk to the beaches. Would definately stay here again!

Perfect size place

Me and my crew absolutely loved this place. It was the perfect size and had just enough places for all of us to sleep. There was also plenty of room in the refrigerator, pantry, and cabinets. We enjoyed this stay so much, however the bathtubs did creek and it scared us a few times, but this is the only complaint we had.

The place was perfect and had most everything we needed! The only down side was that the internet wasn’t working. We didn’t really need it, so it wasn’t a huge deal. Other than that, everything was great, the neighbors were kind and we had such a fun weekend!

The house was awesome and perfect for our family! It was well maintained, clean, and had plenty of space for us. It was also a short walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants and shops. Thank you for hosting us!

The listing states 3 BR/2.5 bath, which was correct, but you do not have access to all square footage of the house. There is a locked off master bed/bath, which allows no exit to the “outdoor patio”. The outdoor patio is small and hard to get to from the side of the house due to all the grown up weeds, the patio itself did not seem to be attended to either, weeds everywhere and no grill. The tubs in the upstairs crack constantly when showering, enough to awake downstairs guest. The second day we were there, my daughter

Overall, the rental was very clean. It had the basic necessities in the kitchen. I will say they could make some improvements for what we paid for a week. The walls needed touching up. The towel hanger in the master bedroom fell off the wall when I tried to put the hand towel on it. Screws were just barely hanging in the heat pump air register. We had our 22-month-old granddaughter with us and she was able to just pull the screws out which could have been dangerous if we had not of seen her do it. Both bathtubs popped and cracked the entire time you were in the shower. They had to be very cheap tubs. It was so annoying listening to that while showering. Also, it says the rental is steps from the beach. It is many steps from the beach. We ended up driving down every day because there was nothing at the rental to haul your beach stuff down to the beach access. There is a small patio on the back of the house but there is not a grill there if you want to grill anything, which we always like to do. There is also not any beach chairs or umbrellas. Some of us flew but my husband drove so we could bring our chairs and umbrellas. Keep that in mind unless you want to go buy chairs and umbrellas and a wagon. Overall, we had a great time with our family, but I wouldn't choose to rent this house again due to the things I have mentioned. Also note If you visit in the summer, the beach access is very limited, and it is about impossible to find a parking spot or even a spot on the beach.

Great house close to all we need!

We had a great time at this vacation rental! The hosts were easy to reach and stopped by the first night to see if there was anything that we need. The location was great and close enough to walk to the beach and great dining. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and they provided plenty of bath towels. We did need to provide our own beach chairs, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. to accommodate the length of our stay. We would love to stay again!
