PROPERTY OVERVIEW - Set in the Chalk Hill Appellation of Northern Sonoma County. 59 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. 28 miles East of the scenic Pacific Coast sits this majestic villa on 15 acres of rolling hills with enchanting wildlife and native trees. Conveniently located 6 miles from the Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport.When arriving at Clos du Chene you'll be greeted by a welcoming villa just perfect for your stay in Sonoma County. The circular driveway around a beautiful oak tree reflects the name 'Clos du Chene'. The exterior is European in nature as well as some of the beautiful interior furnishings. The dining room table is custom made and can accommodate 10 people comfortably. Once you get yourself acquainted with this 6000 square foot villa. You will appreciate how easily you can enjoy each space. The kitchen is truly the center point of this home, you will find yourself here gathering with your guests much of the time, it is really very special. The materials used are exceptional and will make your cooking experience truly enjoyable. There are two wood fireplaces, one in the family room and one in the cozy courtyard. The other three fireplaces are gas and are enjoyed in the living room, by the pool, and master bedroom. The new outdoor kitchen has everything you'll need to enjoy cooking outside in comfort. A large grill is accompanied by a pizza oven, large sink connected to a reverse osmosis system, mini fridge, heater, ice machine, ad multiple power outlets. There is even a television with surround sound! There really is too many beautiful amenities to mention here. When you decide to stay at 'Clos du Chene' you will experience a truly magical time you won't soon forget. This home genuinely embraces the spirit of the wine country that surrounds it. We have a caretaker who lives on a neighboring property, so unlike most VRBO rentals, you can be assured of better oversight and assistance; someone is almost always on call. There is firewood on the premises and the fire pit will be stacked, ready for your match to set them alight. We can't wait to share it with you!

BEDROOMS & BATHS - On the main floor you will find the master bedroom. It has a king size bed, fireplace, walk in closet, and access to the courtyard. On the main floor you will also find two half baths for added convenience. The remaining four bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom has a king bed. The remaining three bedrooms have queen beds. There are two full bathrooms on the second floor.

OUTDOOR AREAS - The pool can be heated for a fee. Please inquire for pricing. The hot tub is heated on demand free of charge. Propane is provided for the outdoor fire pit. Fire wood is provided for the pizza oven and courtyard fireplace.

PASSENGER VAN - The transit van can accommodate 10 guests. It is available for chauffeured excursions / dinner transportation / airport transfers. Price upon request.

PET POLICY - This home is pet friendly with a pet fee of $500/pet. This fee goes towards a departure deep clean which is absolutely necessary to mitigate possible allergic reactions to future guests.

An experience
First of all Gaetan and Christina were very accommodating hosts. They even bought a new basketball hoop for us to enjoy! My 16yr old dachshund was able to come last minute when his doggy sitter had to cancel last minute. This just really shows how they are truly about the guest experience. They were kind, helpful, easy to work with and this made our overall experience even better. Having hosts like them made the property even more amazing. Multi gated property where me and my kids felt safe. You definitely feel like you are in a secluded area but still close 10-15 drive down for grocery shopping. The house is amazing! The great kitchen (which our private chef enjoyed as well), the pool and jacuzzi, outdoor bbq with a wood burning pizza oven (a hit with the kids and adults), vineyard, chickens, fire pit, garden and long outdoor dining area overlooking the valley are many of the things to enjoy here. Oh and we miss their coffee bar! Which is a dream for coffee lovers. We will be planning to come back, and hopefully stay longer than 8 days. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Gaetan and Christina!

Clos de Chene is a beautifully appointed home, sitting on wonderfully maintained grounds (including a small vineyard). Christina, the property manager, lives nearby, which led to a terrific and simple check-in process, and immediate answers to questions as we settled in for a long stay. We were there with friends and family for my wife’s 60th birthday, and everyone felt comfortable and welcomed in one of the 5 bedrooms available. The kitchen is a dream, including the outdoor cooking area, and the living room and dining room are immense and yet somehow cozy. This is a one-of-a-kind property, perfect for special occasions. Highly recommended.

Fantastic luxury home
Overall a wonderful experience, we stayed here with 9 friends for a homey wine weekend. The property is about 10 minutes off the highway but feels like you’re out in the Tuscan countryside. Very well designed private getaway, yet close to the Russian River & Dry Creek wineries. The chefs kitchen, and outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven were a huge hit. Would highly recommend!

Family vacation
We rented this house for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration with our family. 10 of us stayed for a week (6 adults, 4 kids). The house was perfect, very spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Kitchen was well equipped. Made good use of the outdoor pizza oven. Lots of great outdoor space. Our goal was to create a fun memorable experience for our family that we’ll talk about forever. Accomplished!!

Perfect Family Vacation
Our family stayed at this beautiful property for 20 days in July. Our group included six adults and four children ranging in from 3 to 9 years old. The house is spacious with plenty of room for our three families, we could come together but room for privacy too. This became a Covid 19 vacation and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The home and property are even more beautiful than the pictures and the house is amazingly stocked with everything that you need from cooking spices to beach towels! We are already talking about returning next summer. Hopefully we will be able to go to restaurants and wineries then. Christina is a wonderful hostess! She greeted us warmly and was available to answer all our questions. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at this lovely home. Cathie

Wonderful house!
Our family with teens loved staying at this large, very private home. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The kitchen is well-equiped. We enjoyed eating al fresco at night, and the pizza oven is a great addition. It’s very clean too.

Ideal Family getaway if you like to cook and chill
This is a terrific property if you like to chill by the pool, play random games like bocce and cornhole and grill. The experience felt like we had our own little enclave in Italy or South of France. Absolutely loved it and used every square inch of the property for some kind of fun.

Great house
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with the whole family and the house was fantastic. It has the Wow factor and we liked the privacy it offers. Hot tub and swimming pool was a big bonus and would love to come back in the summer. Christina was very helpful and made everything very easy for us.

The property was as great as advertised, with exceptionally helpful managers greeting us at check in, and available within minutes when we had questions. The property is just gorgeous. We took advantage of every bit of it. Used the pizza oven for dinner one night and it was great. Used the pool and the hot tub and both the propane fire pit and the outside fireplace. Everything was as advertised. Highly recommend.

Girls Getaway
Some background - we were in a pickle with an unexpected power outage at our original reservation was cancelled. The host was extremely timely and responsive to any questions asked. They continuously checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. As for the house, it was absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. We couldn't be more fortunate and appreciative to have been able to stay here!!!

Vacation Paradise
This picture perfect paradise surpassed our expectations! There is so much room to make everyone feel comfortable no matter what you are doing together as a group or family.
