This is a lovely old Art Deco hotel from the 1920s. They retained a lot of its character and soul while updating enough to have modern conveniences. The staff was wonderful especially Anais and Victor.

Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant food and service was very good. Good location to walk to metro station and other main neighbourhood/attractions. Property could use some updates to make the overall experience more enjoyable (e.g. showerhead needed replacing). Depending on the room you are in, it could be very noisy at times, particularly the music from rooftop restaurant. Would not recommend this hotel if you are an early riser or light sleeper.

The inside of the hotel was fine. The major issue was not having nearby parking AND the road in front of the hotel was closed for construction. When I checked in, there were additional road closures and I could not get close to the property by car. I paid an additional $60 USD for 2 days stay. I feel this should have been addressed by the hotel at booking. Also, the rooms curtain did not block all the light and I could not sleep because of this. Overall, I would not stay here again

The hotel it’s a Gaudi style architecture from the 1920’s. It’s beautiful but a little worn out. We got a very small 1 bd where me and my wife couldn’t move around the room with not enough space to storage our luggage. So we ended up paying a pricey upgrade to the best 1 bd Suite where we finally got enough space to walk and storage. The breakfast from 7am to 10:30am it’s great but if you take an early tour excursion you’ll need to ask them to prepare the breakfast just for you on an earlier time with NO EGGS & BACON. Also there’s no eggs & bacon until 7:30am and after 10:00am. We had an ugly altercation with one of the staff members during breakfast. The rest of the staff was nice. The area it’s a little sketchy but we felt safe walking around. Nearby area has very nice places to visit such as the Lastarria & Bella Vista.

Very close to wonderful eatery's, great for setting up tours and transportation for us. Would stay there again. Loved the ambiance and rooftop bar. Remember to bring a washcloth lol, most places don't provide them anymore. Felt like home away from home.

Great central stay
The property is beautiful with interesting architecture and design choices everywhere. The rooftop bar and restaraunt is perfect after a day exploring the city!

I love this place
I love Luciano K, makes you feel like home. It wasn't my first stay, had a problem with the shower and got a new room (can happen). What I did not like: I stayed almost one week, brought two custoimers extra for several nights. When I asked for a late checkout (7 pm) I had to pay the full night. I did not expect a free half a day request, but, at least, to pay the half rate. Anyway, cannot rate the hotel negatively.

Very welcoming hotel, which this is small and feels more personal. It is a cute building with nicely proportioned rooms. However it could do with some re-decoration in places to restore it to what one can still see would be its former glory. But even so, it was quiet, good breakfast. It had a relaxed atmosphere. I ate a meal on the terrace on one night which was tasty and good sized portion with a beer which was lovely and cold. The pool is small and more of a feature - a plunge pool maybe, for those who want to sunbath and need to cool off.
