The apartment is in good location, close to the famous tourist area.
We have been travelling through Argentina and Southern Chile for over 6 weeks before Santiago. Arriving at our hotel couldn't have been nicer. It has been the best value for the price. We have paid far more for far less!!! The room was spacious, clean, equipped with a kitchenette, strong wifi, cable tv and a/c if needed. The central location close to all the historic sights and to the metro made it brilliant for sight seeing and connecting to the bus station. The rooftop pool was an added bonus and provided a 360 deg. view of the city.
Kudos to David the manager. His English was excellent and his customer service was brilliant. He made us feel welcome and followed thru on accommodating our requests. We actually received a courtesy call from David to make sure all our needs were looked after. BIG thumbs up!!!
Skip this place completely. The apartment was dirty. Not cleaned well. it appears as if they only wiped it down from the past guests. The whole apartment needed painting and refreshing. Carpet was nasty. There are much better places in Santiago run by fine people. Don't stay here

Downtown on your own
The apartment is very central with a supermarket across and metro options nearby. The loft room I chose is quiet and we'll equipped and for the price it is a good deal. However you are totally on your own with no staff (this is a huge apt complex with several housing and apart hotel companies and check in inside an apt on the 9th floor). There was no view from the loft as there is a huge office building in front of it. Be aware that the pool closes in March for the winter and that the area is quite dead at night (still felt safe). For the price of 55 us a night I'd still recommend it. Great wifi by the way.
I arrived at the hotel and it was already too late to check-in(9pm). The reception gave me a key and i had to go check-in the next day. Important to know that they speak only spanish... I had to see the girl for check-in at 3 times. Knowing that i was not speaking spanish very well, the girl at the reception no effort to speak more clearly and slowly. The room was ok, but everything was falling appart, sink, hole in the ceeling, leaking toilet, no toilet paper... I was very disappointed. I had to go talk
My wife, oldest son and I stayed for 3 nights at this location. My wife and I had stayed there before so we knew the location. Our double room was fine and beds worked out. (two twin beds and a sofa sleeper) The only real problem was that we seemed to be always running out of toilet paper and had to call to reception for more.
Otherwise I would recommend this as a option to some of the very expensive hotels of Santiago. It was very convenient to cafes's, restaurants and shopping at local grocery store accros the street. Naturally, the price for the thee nights was a plus

Check in is confusing as these are Apartments which can be leased or rented out by various agencies... so it's not clear cut however it is close to Plaza de Armas and the Presidents residents... lots of restaurants and a grocery store across the road.

Value for Money
For the money we paid, I think it is good value. The location is great. The room is reasonably clean. The problem is that we have language problem. It will be very helpful if they can produce a simple instruction sheet on the apartment location, check out procedure etc. Also, inform the customers that the receptionist is at Tower A Level 9 room 929. I had difficulty in getting information from the security desk when I arrive as they do not understand English.
My apartment was comfy and clean and the bed was comfortable, too. I was able to check in early thru the front desk in the lobby. All other services are provided by a very professional staff on the 9th floor in a connected tower. This is an apartment building for Chileans living in the city. Apparently, part of the building is managed separately as a hotel. Close to metro and Plaza de Armas. A little noisy at night, but I was still able to sleep. There are few English speakers on the hotel staff, but everyone tries hard to communicate. We booked two great tours using the services of the ladies on the 9th floor. Be sure to visit the rooftop pool, 30th floor, tower B. Awesome views. There are not enough elevators for this size building so be prepared to wait or use the stairs.
Really comfortable stay here, we've been travelling for a while so it was lovely to have our own flat for a few days. Some bits of the flat were showing signs of ware, but generally the place was clean and really comfortable.
It is an Condo/Apartment Hotel. Big complex. The front desk tells you a room to go to, usted hablas espanol. The office is in there. They give you your key and then you find your room. Room was dirty and not inviting. It definitely did not look like the picture on the site. View of the center courtyard, nothing to see. You get what you pay for. It housed us for one night and then off to Valpo.
Rating is high for good service by staff....very helpful. But facilities need some attention...shower could not be hooked up as hook was broken, Aircon. was a portable unit, so, a bit noisy. Had to carry luggages over a flight of steps. A bit complicated to get keys to room.
Arriving on New Years Day, to a non-English speaking reception has its challenges. After that was successfully negotiated, we found the room was neat, clean and had a very comfy bed.
The accommodation is wonderfully situated and a great base for walking to all the tourist sites near the centre of Santiago. We look forward to returning there in about a months time to spend more nights with this as our base.

Very noisy, but convenient location in center
This is a not hotel in traditional mining at all. It is apartment in huge building, partially office spaces, partially apartments, where live young families. Location is perfect - center of Santiago, easy to reach everything in city, walking distance to main square - Plaza de Armas, across a street - supermarket. We had 2 floors apartment, where bathroom was on top floor. On my opinion it is not convenient. But hotel is not expensive and have a lot of benefits.
Huerfenaos is the a pedestrian street busy and filled with restaurants and coffee shops. There is also a nice supermarket nearby and the subway is a few blocks away. The only thing was that the apartment was very dirty and not well equipped. No coffee machine, no ironing board! The bar stools around the table were way too high to be comfortable at the table and it was difficult to work there. The floor, the carpet in the living room and the bedroom were filthy. The windows were so dirty that you could barely see through them.

Reasonable apartment in city centre
Nice apartment, but no views (unless you like looking at a concrete wall). Quiet and clean. Bed and bedding very comfortable and so we had a good nights sleep. Close to the tourist attractions of the city centre. But not much around to do when the shops close (but it doesn't cost much by taxi to go elsewhere for something to eat and drink). Metro (underground) station 5 minutes walk away which was handy. 'Hot' water was only warm. No plug for the bath which was irritating. Wifi didn't work (after an hour trying to connect, we decided to give up).
Just quick stop over on my way to Peru. This apartment hotel is in a great location and has good facilies and is good value cor money by Chilean standards
The hotel is conveniently located and the quality of the room superb. The owners were quick to respond and flexible with our check-in/check-out time. It felt more like renting an apartment than staying in a hotel. Excellent value and would definitely recommend!
