I would have preferred a larger mirror at the sink but the vanity was designed as it was and it really was a minor issue. I believe the water available at various locations e.g., the pool/gym area had not been filtered and it made me sick but I quickly recovered but that should be checked. The hotel also needs to install a ATM so clients are not directed to the supermarket. I would recommend for a hotel of this caliber that that it consider adding a spa where a manicure/pedicure/massage can be accessed upon advance request or by appointment. The food, while presented beautifully was not equal to the presentation and was an overall disappointment. I ate one breakfast once and had no desire to return for breakfast or any other meals -- particularly when there are so many superior places to eat cheaply including Villar Hermanos and/or at Blue Mall or the Piantini area. May also consider providing designated taxi service for ground transportation. Parking was also an issue for taxis and there should be allowances -- didn't appreciate the abrupt nature of security when I was paying for a taxi that had to move forward and the assumption that I was not a guest at the property. It was a bit embarrassing and humiliating to say the least. These were minor issues they did not alter the overall pleasant experience and I hope to return as a guest again.

Amazing property but my room was advertised as having a balcony when it opened into a back atrium facing a wall. Was very disappointed by the room, I booked a balcony because I like having natural light. The pool was also out of commission every day I was there, huge disappointment as this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel.

Beautiful but construction everywhere
I recently stayed at the Kimpton and while the property itself is beautiful, my experience was overshadowed by ongoing construction throughout the hotel. For two days, we were unable to use the pool, which was a key part of our plans. The construction was not only disruptive, but it was also visible throughout the hotel, making it less enjoyable to relax and take in the surroundings. On another day, we were woken up from a nap by construction noise. Had we been informed of the extent of the work ahead of time, we might have made other arrangements. It really took away from what was supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing stay. While the hotel has a lot of potential, this situation significantly impacted our experience.

La habitación tenía almohadas que olían mal, a mitad de la noche pedimos que nos llevaran nuevas, y lo hicieron. Igualmente, el servicio en el restaurante italiano estuvo lento, y había pocas personas. Pero la comida demasiado buena. El aire no enfriaba bien, y con el calor que hace, pasamos mucho calor en la noche. La habitación tiene algunos problemas: (a) cuando cuelgas las toallas, tocan los controles de las luces y las prenden/apagan si se mueven, (b) no hay espacio de colocar cosas en el lavamanos sin que se mojen, (c) hay muy poco espacio de closet, y el espacio para colocar las maletas queda justo debajo de las camisas, o sea que lo hace incómodo.

Excelente hotel!! Totalmente recomendado. Volvería otra vez y lo recomendaría a todos. Excelente calidad de comida, servicio, habitaciones y las instalaciones en general estaban buenísimas, te transmite paz. El único tema fue que el elevador no funcionó por el fin de semana completo. En general es un hotel hermosísimo y la calidad de todo es 1 A.
