Broken floor plug half missing covered up with dirty bath mat easily cut your feet open . cracked shower base .kettle.with no cups or tea or coffee .breakfast very basic cereal mixed cornflakes mixed with cocopops.Nothing like the brochure.

It’s location is good, very close to everything, the washrooms are really bad, it feels like you are in a hostel or a pension, the bed, bed sheets, pillows, are very old, refrigerator is all rusted. Because there is a lot of things that look gross and need to be updated it not a good experience, should be 2.5stars no more.

We needed to book a hotel because our ferry was canceled due to bad weather. This place had decent reviews but was terrible. It smelled odd, had hard/uncomfortable beds, the refrigerator didn't work, the safe as broken, the light in the bathroom was awful/broken, the toilet flusher was broken and we had to manually flush it and the shower was so gross we decided not to shower and wait until our next place. When I went downstairs to ask to switch rooms the guy said he wasn't the manager and there was nothing he could do. Nothing he could do! WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Affordable, basic, clean inn-no view but good area
We stayed at Blue Sky for 3 nights after travelling from Canada. I would say it's a clean 3-star inn in a great location. Plus the price is good compared to some of the caldera view hotels on the other side of the hill. Overall it's a good place to spend the night with a nice pool to spend the afternoon at if you wish. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want large rooms, a good view or 5 star service or dining. The good: Simple check in Clean rooms Modern A/C unit Daily cleaning and fresh linens (although they looked like large towels cut in half) Nice clean, large pool with large loungers (but unfortunately surrounded by walls on all sides leaving no scenic views) Great location close to downtown Fira and the central bus station The bad: No sea view Small shower with bad grimy curtain was barely big enough to turn around in. And since the curtain didn't really cover the stall, water sprayed all over the bathroom floor leaving it very wet. The washroom was very tiny so having a wet floor was not pleasant. - The continental breakfast was a joke. It consisted of basic white bread, salami and cheese slices plus stale cereal and coffee from a machine. After the first day we decided to eat elsewhere.

Close to the centre
We reserved a room for 3 person but the room is small specially the bathroom is very small and have a bad smell. The receptionists are very helpful, The hotel is Close to the centre of Fira, 5 min a walk. The breakfast is the same in all the 3 days ( butter, jam , cheese, bread, yogurt, milk , tea , coffee) I recommend it only for a short stay.

Great location to the center of Fira. Short walk to numerous bars, shops and restaurants (you can find something for any price range) Spacious balcony overlooking the pool. Down the street from a scooter/atv rental.

Blue Sky Hotel
Beware that Google Maps will direct you to the wrong location 15 minutes walking distance away from the actual location, which is located on a street full of small hotel/motels. You get what you pay for. The hotel is cheap and close to the Fira town center (5 minutes walking). The receptionist at the front desk with feed you whatever lies to get you off of her back. If you need assistance, deal with her aunt who will be reasonable with her promises. The amenities are a bare minimum and the included breakfast is a joke. However, once you get settled, it's a convenient place to stay. You can get to Oia and Akrotiri with a easy bus line (1.60 euros each) and the old port is just a cable car/donkey trip away.

Well in one way it was my fault for not checking this hotel's reviews earlier on TripAdvisor. Having booked it several months in advance and checking a day before my flight to Santorini, I read it's "dubious" reviews. I faced the music when I got there. As stated in several other reviews, they were overbooked in the Blue Sky hotel. So the owner moved us to the Lignos Hotel (on the main street). They have four other hotels, so they use the Blue Sky hotel's pictures as their flagship hotel. Any excess guests are moved to the other hotels. So beware. I DID NOT STAY at the Blue Sky hotel in fact. Next was the first night's room at the Lignos Hotel. Room 8, Ground floor, damp (thanks to the rain), tiniest double room - just enough space for the double bed, water drainage wasn't good at all. To top it off was the most inconvenient shower I ever had. But then again, I paid less than 40euros for the room - I got what I paid for. Breakfast was: slices of baguette, boiled eggs, ready made slices of ham and a cheese. Option for corn flakes and milk. Oh and coffee. People looking for a "good" breakfast, please buy stuff from the "SELF SERVICE" shop on the main street. Thankfully the next day, we got shifted to the first floor of the Lignos Hotel, and it was much better. Water drained nicely and the room wasn't damp! Yay! The Lignos Hotel was quite convenient being in Fira, since thats the main station for all the buses. All in all, the Lignos Hotel's first floor rooms aren't bad.

Very nice hotel "Suits blue " offered instead of Blue Sky probably because of noise from nearby building site. Not possible to stay in room and relax most of the days during our stay. Very irritating! Extremely boring Breakfasts. Every day exactly the same set of food. I don't know why it can not be some variety from day to day within the same budget!!! Only thing which is required is a bit of creativity!!! Very disappointing minimal Brrakfasts with terrible coffee and milk diluted with water. Shame for four star hotel. Would not recommend this hotel only because of food! 😕

La struttura si presenta bene nel complesso e c’e anche una grande piscina. Il personale sempre gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione. Peccato per la pulizia della camera... abbiamo alloggiato all’hotel per 10 notti e le lenzuola sono state cambiate solo all’ottavo giorno. Il bagno come i pavimenti non sono mai stati puliti; l’unica cosa che facevano quotidianamente era il cambio degli asciugamani. Il giudizio nel complesso è più o meno positivo, considerata anche la posizione a 5 min dal centro e dalla fermata dei pullman.

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo do comércio, dos pontos turísticos, ponto de táxi e de ônibus. O café da manhã é bem fraco. O quarto é pequeno e o banheiro muito pequeno. O banheiro não tem box... fica bem molhado.
