Le meilleur d’une autre époque
Une auberge d’une autre époque avec une superbe architecture et déco. Le personnel est extrêmement chaleureux et accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux. Simplement faire attention si vous réservez une chambre pour trois personnes, le lit supplémentaire ne conviendrait que pour un jeune enfant, très inconfortable pour un adulte.

A once distinctive property with many lovely traditional Portuguese features Rooms were large and clean However the building and grounds require maintenance and upgrading and basic TLC This could be a stunning hotel It probably once was but is stuck in a time warp Staff we’re polite and helpful Breakfast was bad

Still retains the charm of a Pousada
This was our second stay at this Hotel, our previous being some years ago when it was a Pousada. Thankfully it has still retained its charm and we were not disappointed. Perfectly placed for a walk into the town, and an added bonus to have a small balcony we could sit on in the evening....... definitely recommend it!

Hotel was easy to find. Good location, just outside City walls. Easy parking. Bedrooms spacious , clean and comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Classic beautiful hotel
Old world charm and grace greet you at this wonderful hotel. Great food and wine at the restaurant. Rita and Andre were exceptionally pleasant hosts. The hotel sits at the base of a historic walled city with many significant sites to visit in the immediate area. Unexpected gem
Most surprised at what a charming hotel this was, especially because of its proximity to the highway. We were warmly greeted at reception and, since there is not elevator and all rooms are up one floor, helped with our luggage. Pristine room and linens. Lovely room for breakfast, with good choice. We had dinner the night before in their restaurant, for convenience and found the food to be good and plentiful.

Good hotel within walking distance of Elvas
Front of house staff (Sarah ?) was exceptional at check in and throughout our stay. Room was good, balcony which was a treat, breakfast was good with background music playing. Easy walk into town. Would stay here again.
