Featuring mountain and forest views, and located just 1 kilometer from the beach, this home features all-new furniture, appliances and decor. Behind the property lies an undeveloped nature reserve teeming with animals.

The Space:
Two bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen, and there are two full modern bathrooms. Every room is fully air-conditioned, and the home offers high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. There’s s a 70-inch TV accessible by the internet, and there’s a new washer and dryer.

The white kitchen has a breakfast bar, a kitchen island, a large refrigerator, a stove with oven and a microwave, all brand-new. A very large dining table, handmade of beautiful guanacaste wood (3×1 meters) seats six, with six modern chairs.

A very private, medium-size infinity pool is surrounded by a large terrace, half in the shade and half in the sun, with big outdoor lounge furniture and a barbecue under roof. The pool contains three seats in the water to belly up to the poolside bar. The home has 316 square meters of living space, including the pool.

Pet-friendly policy

We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Playa Hermosa
Just north of Playas del Coco, Playa Hermosa is a smaller, more relaxed version of a beachfront paradise, with spectacular ocean views, luxurious mountainside villas, a handful of gourmet restaurants and even a movie theater.
It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Coco, yet it’s close to all of Coco’s conveniences and thriving nightlife. The nicer hotels in Hermosa include the beachfront Bosque del Mar (with trees growing through the decks) and Villa del Sueño (with live music and an incredible chef).
A couple of restaurants not to miss are Ginger (Asian-inspired tapas in a treehouse) and the beachfront Aqua Sport (with signs like “If you drink to forget, pay first”).
To the north of Hermosa there are a string of luxe resorts lining the gorgeous Bahía Culebra, including Occidental Papagayo, El Mangroove, Casa Conde and Secrets. And it’s not far from here to the Beverly Hills of Costa Rica, Papagayo Peninsula, home to the Four Seasons, a world-class marina and a golf course designed by Arnold Palmer.

Getting Around:

While taxis are available, they may be somewhat challenging to find. Many locals rely on buses for transportation, although there is a limited selection of routes and schedules. Private shuttles are an excellent choice for reaching nearby destinations, and numerous tour companies offer transportation to and from their tours.
