My summer work brings me to Saskatoon several times a year. Home Inn and Suites is easily and quickly accessible for me, with many nearby options for dining (within walking distance). The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious.

This hotel is very middle of the road as far as bang for your buck. The location and room sizes are nice, but the hotel itself is missing some amenities and needs to improve a lot on the cleaning and upkeep of the property. We appreciated that this hotel was close to a grocery store, gas station, and other restaurants. Our kitchenette suite allowed us to have some extra room as we were traveling with our little one and needed space for a pack n play. The hotel did not have a travel crib to lend, but offered a pack n play so we chose to bring our own as we knew it was in safe condition. The staff at the continental breakfast were very attentive and friendly but the breakfast itself was just okay. Lots of premade/frozen items that were reheated in an oven and put into a hot pan. The first morning we found the potatoes were undercooked. However, we appreciated the coffee/tea, toast and yogurt that were also offered. Our room was comfortable but there were a lot of things needing attention like mould in the shampoo dispensers, a broken light and stains on the shower curtain. We also noticed several spaces in the room that were not cleaned upon arrival. We had asked the front desk to have someone attend to the room (typically they only clean every 3 days) and unfortunately no one attended to our room. The pool has a waterslide that seemed well used, but the pool is dated and in need of a proper repair and cleaning. (Peeling paint)

When we arrived in our room, the television didn’t work so the front desk sent a a very helpful person to assist. Apparently the previous guest had unplugged everything in order to use his gaming console. The problem was fixed , however no guarantee that it would stay working, so we were given an upgrade to a suite!! Excellent service!! Would recommend.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I found the room to be a good size and the furniture in decent condition. The carpets were worn and dirty. The bathroom (tub and shower) was also showing its age. The bed was comfy. Our room was next to the stairs and we were woken several times during the night by the doors to the stairs slamming shut. The staff were friendly and people seemed to enjoy the breakfast.
