Excellent accommodations with a pleasant and professional staff. I know parking is always an issue, and valet is necessary and expensive downtown, but the service was prompt and efficient and conveniently located adjacent to the hotel. Only issue was much evidence of homeless trash our around our car and others in the garage. Temperature control was a challenge in the room as it was freezing when we got there with an erroneous indication of 81 degrees…apparently work in progress. Complimentary Breakfast was awesome.

The hotel was very comfortable and quiet. The room was comfortable, but could be a slight bit larger. The location could be better if there was an area in the front of the hotel to drive up to check in. The valet area on the side of the hotel creates a jam and confusion when checking in or driving up. Elevators were an issue since one was out of service and the other was the only one available to guests. It took some time for the elevator to arrive. Lobby and dining area was nice. Having a water station or a big dispenser of water with sliced lemons/limes throughout out the day in the lobby could be great addition, especially during the summer months at this location. Daily breakfast provided had the potential to be great, if the hot foods were prepared better, ie., grits were grainy, sausage were overcooked, and eggs had too much water. All in all it was a great stay at Fairfield Inn - Savannah.

Good three day trip!
Overall good stay for a quick three day trip close to the city so you can walk or (rent) scooters. Good locations as well. Room is clean and bed was comfy as well. Modern shower as well. Pillows are not bad but not a good assortment of them. A/C worked great!!! One thing is they only offer valet service if you want to be on the property, there is a public parking garage but that is across the street. And I had to park my car one night because my valet attendant did not know how to drive a Tesla, but I still had to pay the valet fee of that day, ($35 each day) which kinda defeats the purpose. And one of the day’s when we got in the car, it smelled like someone did take a drag off a cigarette. But the hotel staff is very friendly and the building is very well upkept and updated. The buffet breakfast is good as well does fill out on the weekends but they have plenty of food. Overall I would stay here again 8/10.

A Great Girls Rainy Retreat in Comfort
We had a Girls Weekend with my best friend I hadn't seen in several years. We stayed at Fairfield Inn in Savannah and had a wonderful time. My bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The room was clean, the breakfast was good over all, although the eggs were a little powdery, and it was within walking distance to all downtiwn historical locations and River Street. Our second day, it POURED down rain with thunder and lightening. We hurried for almost 30 min in the downpour to get back to the hotel from the statue of The Waving Girl at the other end of River Street. We looked like drowned rats and the staff hurried to meet us with fresh warm towels to help dry ourselves and told us not to worry about the dripping water on the floor. We had a great time in a very comfortable, quiet hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I go back.

Did not like that. They only have vallet parking. On one day the housekeeper did not show up. One of the housekeepers did provide towels later in the evening. The rest of the staff were excellent.
