The stay was interesting for us. Bed super comfy. Rooms very clean. The service we encountered from the Bellman and Valet was amazing! Always cheerful. The front desk, not so much. The young lady that checked us in seemed bothered by us. Rattled info out to us like if she was an auctioneer. AC did not work properly and the TV kept giving us a weird code. Engineer had to come up for both incidents. The in-house restaurant was a horrible experience. Except for our server DaJuan. That young man was awesome. He talked up the food's quality. He was partly correct. The braised short rib was amazing but the accompanying vegetables were raw. Couldn't stick my fork into the carrot. My wife's duck was chewy. The fat was not rendered out well. Presentation was amazing on both dishes but the overall experience was lack luster. Also, no presence of a responsible manager at the Bar. It's an open concept so the drunk bar guests were cursing a storm and all was being heard in a restaurant with families and children. The breakfast experience was not that good either. The staff seemed annoyed to be there. All except this one older lady at the omelet station. She was so sweet and engaging. The location is convenient but... for the overall experience and cost involved... next time we'll stay elsewhere.

Our room faced the river. Loved watching the huge barges go by. Staff was so friendly. The young girl at the valet parking was so welcoming! Wish I could remember her name - she had moved to Savannah from Atlanta. Love the Hyatt Regency Savannah!

The property has a great location. The lobby decoration is nice, and the restaurant is good. The valet parking was great. The room was okay; I booked a room with a terrace and the view was amazing, but the room wasn't as clean as I expected. I had to call the front desk and ask them to send someone to pick up two bags of trash that were left on my terrace.

We stayed at the room 326. Room had a smell of mold. My kid showed symptoms of allergy, runny nose, watery eyes etc. His symptoms started after we checked in our room and dissappeared immediately when we got out of the hotel. Bathroom was also not very clean. There were hairs on the shower wall. And again mold smell. Other than these everything was great!

The hotel smelled amazing when we walked in. You just want to stand there and inhale! There are beautiful sitting areas and the restaurant is easily accessible. The one con is lack of hotel parking.

I would not not recommend this property at all. We booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and the check in process was horrible due to a very rude/bad attitude employee at the check in desk. We also booked a king size bed and was then told we had to have two full size beds because they didn’t have any king beds. We had to sleep in separate beds on our anniversary. They gave us an inside room overlooking the inside of the hotel and it was very noisy all night long and again in the morning. Do not book this hotel!!
