It opens directly on to river street and is very convenient to downtown. The valet parking is too expensive and self parking is not offered .

We had an excellent experience at this property. From valet to check-in was hassle free. Upgraded our room to a corner room on the river and it was amazing. Awesome views & plenty of room. The only downside was we had some TV issues. They did address them immediately. Close to great restaurants. I highly recommend the Olympic cafe for Greek food, Goose Feathers for breakfast or lunch, and Toast. I would definitely stay at the Hyatt again for their great service and location.

Having worked in the hospitality industry for 10 plus years, I never leave reviews. This is because I understand that things go wrong and usually it is through no fault of the employees. My issue here is that upon check in, we were informed that our reservation for a king room was not available. This is an issue with booking through Expedia so I can understand that. The solution was to "upgrade" us to a river view room with 2 full sized beds. Not wanting to be an issue, we dealt with that. Even though that was obviously not our preference as a couple who'd booked a king. Breakfast at the restaurant was not a good experience either. I ordered an oat milk latte, but the espresso machine was down. Again, no one has control over that so no problem I just ordered drip with oat milk. Coffee came with heavy cream on the side. As it's just a preference, I drank it and didn't complain. Then the food came out. Biscuits & gravy added poached egg. Egg came on the side floating in too much water and the biscuits were lukewarm with cold patches in the gravy. I was hungry and they were busy so I just ate, paid and left. We scanned the valet ticket to get our car pulled out front. We had all our bags etc & checked it's status to find that valet service was not available, that we needed to go and get the car ourselves. So my bf did that while I waited with all luggage. They didnt charge us to get the car out. We did get help loading everything in. Overall, disappointed. Not worth $$$

We have stayed two nights in Hyatt Regency in Savannah. Unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed with the hotel’s front desk customer service; chewing gum and with obesity clerk… This is not a „presence”you expect in the four star hotel …. Of course we did not expect to pay $75 nightly parking fee( $50 parking + $25 destination fee…) we did not move the vehicle during our stay.. In regards to room itself , we can not complain, however bathroom needs attention ; caulking around toilet in terrible, rust on the metal parts of the sink stand due to water splashing from the shower. The shower courtain too short and wrinkled !

We were there for the All women’s Marathon. Perfect location. The hotel was very organized and support towards the marathon, breakfast, dinner and snacks. Great stay at the Hyatt.
