Staff was very friendly and the house is beautiful! We loved the themed rooms and love that this beautiful old gem of a property has been so well-loved and cared for. We look forward to staying in another themed room when we return to Savannah!

The whole place was a very unique experience, even though it was in an area I really wasn’t expecting it to be, the owner has done a great job on accommodating and welcoming people in. Very fun visit and definitely plan on visiting again.

a very nice accommodation with flaws: the room and the shower room were clean. However, the common areas were a bit neglected in terms of cleanliness. The interior is unique, but one or two pieces need a little attention. Also, various appliances no longer work (the refrigerator no longer cools and the door no longer seals) and visitors are not allowed to use the stove or washing machine. the contactless check-in/check-out went smoothly. I like the personal contact. It is on a busy street - it is a bit louder in the morning hours - it didn't bother me. There are a few cafes/restaurants in the vicinity. Conclusion: I liked it, but I would like the kitchen to be cleaner, the dishwasher/refrigerator needs maintenance. I would also have liked the trash can in the room to be emptied daily.

This is a decent place to stay. I don’t think the pictures are accurate. The main pictures are of another property so when I showed up it took a bit to relaize I was not in the place I felt I booked. The screenwriters room is small. Also, the A/C struggled due to the amount of heat coming in from the windows. They’re old, I get it but it was unpleasant during the day and early evening. It’s also quite loud as others have said from street noise. You’ll quickly realize why there are ear plugs provided in the room. A small fan would have been nice as well as it’s stagnant in the room which is also uncomfortable. It’s an old house with lots of charm but ultimately it’s not for me when I return to Savannah.

Wonderful!!
The house is beautiful and all the rooms are amazing! Everything is well thought out... from the self check-in (including the you tube video with the additional services on offer) to the sophisticated room locks. The location is perfect and the information booklet in the room is very informative.

Beautiful historical building converted to guest house. Check in was easy, entry codes sent via email and I had no issue getting settled in. My room had access to a large balcony with a rocking chair with a nice breeze blowing during my stay. Perfect for chilling and reading. It may be a little out of the way for some, but I didn’t mind walking to and from downtown.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cheap bike rental and private porch were highlights. The shared fridge didn’t work very well, had rotten milk in it, & the ice machine was broken but overall I would stay here again due to the value. Nice area, food walkable, & walkable to downtown (abt 2 mi).

What an amazing place to stay in Savannah! Such a cute room, very cozy. Beautiful house and perfect parking on 38th St. Perfectly situated in Midtown area close to everything. I would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely no parking circled blocks for awhile just to check in . After leaving my bag at check in left for the day came back and circled blocks for over an hr and really looked at situation 4parking spots in front of owners adjacent home in a whole neighborhood everyone parked on streets 6 room to rent in rental and a whole neighborhood.owner sends you info day of on parking and access to room .I called owner that night ,no answer . Had to rent another room elsewhere due to no parking . Owner answers phone next day and hangs up . Interrogates me through text says I’m lying . He asked his neighbor.he says . I drove from Mn why would I lie I ask? . He agrees room was not used but he will refund half . He has never done a refund before .Of course ghosted me . Expedia calls him and will not agree to no refund …. Att buyers beware total scam he knows there’s no parking and god don’t like ugly! They have no business renting or even being on Expedia .
