I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property!! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were treated as undercover royalty. lol Attentive front desk, concierge, etc. It was phenomenal. Every restaurant we frequented was delicious, the views were outstanding and we loved the proximity to everything. Definitely can’t wait to return!!

The entire property is just gorgeous and elegant! It is continently located in a prime location where there are options for dining, relaxation and activities. The staff and service we were provided was top-notch. The room was immaculate and we had a beautiful balcony view of the river. We will definitely be staying here again for years to come.

Very neat location with plenty to do around the hotel. Showed up to check in at 5:45 PM room was not ready until 6:30 PM. Had dinner reservation that evening at 7:45PM. Tried to keep our luggage with us because we had to get ready for dinner knowing may be a while for bell

Some good, some bad...

Some things about this place are great - front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, good location, very interesting lobby/hotel, comfortable rooms. Others were not so great. One of our interactions with a non-front desk staff member was very unpleasant (and they were straight up rude), parking is a mess and very expensive if you can find it, and just forget sleeping if it is a Saturday night (parties, noise from outside, and so on continued well past 1 am).

This JW is a cool property but I would never go back. Long story short, our room was directly under the night club (building 2, 5th floor). It was so loud that you could sing along with everyone else in there. We called the first night and complained & they said it would only go on until 12 am but then Fri & Sat were MUCH later. You would have thought the website would have warned you in advance and at a minimum, upon check-in, they would warn you, but no, not a word about what our 3 night experience was going to be like. After we complained and asked for a follow up, no one called the next day. I finally went to the front desk myself and there were no other options to move. They initially offered a $50/night credit but considering we spent $629/night and couldn’t go to sleep until 1:00 am , that wasn’t good enough. We also had major housekeeping problems. No towels replenished, no coffee replaced and no cups. After two days of this, I had to call again. Their concierge, who I had a very hard time understanding, told me that I had to call everytime I wanted something replenished. I just could not believe that was true so I kept questioning to which she got irritated. She kept telling me that even though housekeeping took EVERY towel, not replacing them was standard. When the housekeeping finally came, they confirmed that was in fact NOT true and it was clear that for two days, housekeeping staff was just being lazy (his words, not mine).

The lighting in the room was inadequate and the water in the shower only reached warm temperature at best. Also didn’t appreciate the staff member who tried to double charge me at check in when I informed him that I paid for my stay through Expedia. Perhaps he was new bc later a senior staff member said he would have that corrected for me. The property itself was fine and the areas, sights, and dining surrounding the property were excellent.
