Clean and surprisingly spacious rooms; super friendly staff; delicious breakfast with gluten free options, and easy 2-4 hour street parking nearby. Good location - about a half mile walk to Olavinlinna, and restaurants/market right outside the hotel.

Just spent one night to attend a family party, hotel has been recently renovated. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and the room is nice and comfortable. The breakfast room was nice and the quality of food was good. Would recommend.

A pleasant stay in Savonlinna
Room was clean and comfortable. Airconditioning in one room was a bit noisy. We booked 3 rooms, the other two didn’t have this issue. The Muikkuterassi on top of the building is a great place to enjoy the view and their excellent vendaces. A speciality of the region. Better stay on weekends as from Monday till Thursday the town is pretty quiet and places are either close or close early.

Ok hotel but expensive
The hotel was very expensive when i travelled to area on business. The rooms are dated but have great tv. Breakfast is in resturant next door in morning which you have to go outside to get too which is abit awkward.

No sleep, no space
Night club under the hotel. No sleep possible. Room so small you can't open your luggage. Night tables ripped from the bedwall and not replaced or covered up. You can place your belonging on the floor. Hurray!

This hotel is located right on the lake and our room had a magnificent view as did the sauna. The bed was a little hard and there were no face washers while the room was quite small, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent.

Great location, outdated rooms, good WiFi
The location of this hotel is excellent with a view over the market place and the lake. Friendly and helpful service in the reception - I was also informed about the renovations that were being done in the hotel as well as possible issues with noise from the nightclub in my room as it was located above to the entrance to the club. I didn't notice anything during my stay though. The standard room that I got was clean but small and outdated so the renovations are welcome. The air conditioning unit in the room was noisy but luckily the weather was not too hot and I could set the ac off. The WiFi was fast and easy to get access to, my stay was overall satisfying.

Clean, overpriced but comfortable
Clean rooms and a lovely view. The cost is fairly high even for Finland considering that the room is relatively basic and the breakfast is average. It was also a little disappointing that the hotel restaurant was out of action because there isn't much available after 9pm in Savonlinna (quite a small town). However, the staff were very friendly and the hotel is very centrally located. Good wifi.
