If you still have itchy feet, why not get out and discover more of the Kyushu and Okinawa region? Don't even think about going home without stopping at some of the region's gorgeous beaches. Ruins and castles are popular sights also worth a look around. Those with a good appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little mountain biking, hiking and horse riding here.

Don't blow through before you've checked out the Shida-yaki Pottery Factory Museum and the Saga Prefectural Space & Sciense Museum in Ureshino. If you're keen to stay in Ureshino, consider the Chagokoro no Yado Warakuen and Hana No Shizuku. 40 kilometres to the northeast of Saza-cho you can also stay at Karatsu, which is home to the Asuka Hotel and Karatsu Royal Hotel. If you're staying in Karatsu, set aside a little time to visit Karatsu Shrine and Mikaerino-taki.

You'll find some great visitor attractions in Nagasaki. Inasayama Park, Mount Inasa and Kaminoshima Church are our top picks.
