This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was great! It was conveniently close to everything and I even found out about other things like the Fremont Sunday market which was a blast. Chris made check in super easy, and there’s lots of street parking nearby (Free at night and on Sundays). Did I mention how cute the place was?! I would def stay here again.

I enjoyed the location,it was near the venue where I went for music.
First time staying at Hotel Hotel Hostel. Location cannot be beat. Walking distance to everything including loads of restaurant options. The Burke Gilman trail is right there if you’re the type who likes to go for an early morning walk or ride. The nearby PCC market provides ample food options if you’re cooking for a party of one.
The hostel is the most boutique hostel I have experienced. I had a private room with a sink, mini fridge and electric tea kettle. I visited in January and the room was a bit chilly, but I had supplemented with a travel blanket and was quite comfortable. The beds are clean and simple.
The kitchen was well appointed with cookware, prep space and dishes. The shared bathrooms were sparkling clean with plenty of hot water to unwind from a long day. Fremont is an active neighborhood with lots of visitors evenings and weekends, but after about 1030pm it clears out making for easy sleeping.
There is free street parking from 8pm-8am, never had a problem finding a spot, but I also didn’t need to park there during the day.
I have already booked a room for my next visit to Seattle.

Disliked: Staff & service
Location at the price was OUTSTANDING. The bed was very springy and the reading lamps were worthless.
Never saw any staff but the bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of self serve towels that were also clean and folded.
I really enjoy the hostel experience, it’s lovely to have access to a communal kitchen and the bathroom they were very nice. Additionally, there were extra towels, and blankets at the front desk, which was extremely accessible to guests. The only thing worth noting would be that the Thai place downstairs is very busy and can be loud, there were also earplugs at the front desk, which I definitely used to fall asleep! Silent after 10 pm 😀
A very pleasant discovery in the heart of the Fremont District. Easy walk to visit with our daughter. Very clean, older building. Bed was very comfortable and room was quite large. We stayed in a king bed room.
Within walking distance of local shops and activities, room and bathrooms were stocked and clean..I will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Chris and staff!!
Great hostel style property in Seattle.
East to get bus transit downtown.
You can find nearby parking if you are good at looking for it.
Easy check-in. Make sure you connect early with them if you can't receive texts. The confirmation booking says they will email you info but that is a lie, they send the info through text message. Was a challenge to get them to send to my What's app, but on the check in day we finally received the information.
Could do better communication with guests. Very slow to respond on Expedia app (days). And when they did, the information was ignored. They never sent me the information as they promised. I had to ask again and again the day of check in.
Lost stars on cleanliness. Property did not do a thorough job cleaning under the bed. Found some pills, dirty crumbs, an old receipt and a vape under the bed when we went to fix the bed slats because the mattress was sinking.
Good Hostel style, easy if you have a US number, poor cleaning attention to detail under bed. Slow communication but everything went smoothly with a bunch of patience on my end.
I like a lot The area where I stay at with hotel hotel, however, I encourage the property and management to improve their hot water system, and the heating system into the rooms(or explain it better in how guests can make it work).
Comfortable and very clean. Great location and security with a communal dining and washroom. Rustic design and authentic/minimalist city design that has modern touches.
Only flaw I noticed was the floors reminded me of the SpongeBob episode with Mr. Krabs and the squeaky boots.
