Escape urban Seattle in a Pacific Northwest inspired guest suite. After your day, lounge on the couch and enjoy the 50” smart tv or sit by the wood-burning fire pit. Relax in the spaces influenced by the forests, ocean, and mountains around us.

The guest suite is a basement unit that can host up to 6 guests. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 queen sleeper sofa! All of our beds are luxurious memory foam mattresses (yes, even the sleeper sofa!). Set up for work from home -- work at the desk, lift-up coffee table, large dining table, or even outdoors. Fast 500 Mbps wifi.

-- KITCHEN --
The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic appliances and utensils needed for cooking your own meals. We also have a Keurig machine - coffee included! There is a dedicated indoor dining table that can seat up to 6 people. You are also welcome to eat outdoors.

-- OUTDOOR LIVING --
As guests, you are welcome to use the backyard and fire pit. Fire pit use is allowed all year round (weather and burn ban permitting), firewood and burn logs are provided.

Please note: During the spring, summer and fall seasons, we have a bi-weekly mowing crew come out to clean up the yard. There's no set time as they fit the visit into their schedule, this usually takes up to 30 minutes. You are welcome to continue sharing the space during this time!

-- OTHER THINGS TO NOTE --
Please note the following -- if these are dealbreakers, we may not be the best fit. Either way, we hope you have a great stay in Seattle!

1. The backyard and fire pit is a shared space so you may see us out and about.
2. We have an indoor cat that is not allowed in the guest suite. You may see him bird watching by the windows.
3. As this is a basement unit in an older 1911 home, the ceilings are lower at 6'4" height with lower points at the entrance steps, room and bathroom door frames at 6'1"; and kitchen and hallway entrance frames at 5'9". Some spots upstairs creak and you may hear some footsteps. Thank you for understanding.
4. You may hear the sump pump run for a bit on a rainy day.
5. We recommend that guests use G-Maps Street View to learn more about the Central District neighborhood to ensure it will fit the needs of your stay. An exact location is provided once booked -- please reach out with any questions.

Life can be unpredictable, and situations may arise that prevent you from traveling on your reserved dates. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to assist you with a refund due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note, general travel insurance does not always cover all situations, including Covid-19. You may wish to consider a “CFAR” policy (cancel for any reason).

Well equipped, spacious stay.
Loved the setting and amenities. Things are very convenient. Sadly the pullout couch was dirty both the mattress and underneath the couch and the bedding needed a wash as well. But the hosts were very responsive.
