I recently stayed at a lovely Inn nestled under the hills and was thoroughly impressed. The hospitality was outstanding, and the accommodation was spotless. What sets this place apart is the affordability of both drinks and food – a refreshing change from other recent stays. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of a dram of whisky in a glass canister in the room. The owner's warm welcome made us feel right at home.
As a pet-friendly establishment, it was the perfect choice for our dog. Given that we frequently drive through this area on our travels from Caithness, we'll undoubtedly be back and will happily recommend this gem to friends. The blend of simple yet charming accommodation at an affordable price is a testament to good old-fashioned hospitality.
Quiet and quirky, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.
Ideal "away from the rat race" stay. Be prepared for a 30 minute drive to nearest town. We would happily stay again.
Remote location will suit active people prepared to travel around and appreciate this beautiful area. The meals in the restaurant and the well stocked bar were much appreciated as there is a lack of places to eat close by
