If you want a party atmosphere, stay in MyeongDong. If you want quietness with more expensive tastes, try Gangnam. The hotel is a three star, and the rooms are tiny, but clean. However it is close to COEX for whatever meetings or exhibitions, and the subway for Samseong is closer than Seolleung. They don't have a WowPass machine so the closest to get a WowPass is at the L7 hotel nearby. They did install a tour reservation machine just a few days ago. You can do your laundry with the two washers and two dryers that take 5,000 KRW per load and detergent is 1,000 KRW. I suggest that you use the 1,000 KRW bills than the 500 KRW coins. You get two bottles waters a day and the 15th floor has a dispenser that gives out hit water or cold water, as well as a microwave. Breakfast is 19,300 KRW per guest and lunch is 42,000 KRW, and 49,000 on weekends. It is AYCE with apple and orange juice, three types of teas, strawberry, blueberry, and plain yogurt is available. Miso soup, a porridge, and a soup are available. Scrambled eggs, sunny side up, over easy, hard boiled, as well as omelettes to order are available. A toaster and a waffle maker are there as well. Sausage and bacon with forms of potato are served too, and a vegetarian section, as well as fruit section are available. I only had lunch there once and all I remember most was two versions of gelato being served.

The location is very convenient for my purposes, the rooms and the bed are quite comfortable and the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety to choose from. I have stayed here before and will stay here again in the future. Staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Hotel claims to have Air Conditioning, but to sabe electricity they turn it off at night, so for the first night I couldn't sleep AT ALL because it was 26 degrees celsius inside of my room. Second night they claimed to leave the A/C turned on but it was a lie and it was off all the night, my room was 26degrees again, impossible to sleep. The manager was helpful and on 3rd day he changed us to a MUCH SMALLER ROOM with proper air conditioning so at least I could sleep. I wouldn't back to this hotel even for free.

It's relatively easy access from a station. It's mostly quiet. I really like the fast that there is landline internet connection as I had to work in the hotel room. At one point, I got a really sore throat and asked at the front desk whether they happen to have something good for throat. I completely understand that they didn't. But the speed and the way he said "no" without any compassion felt a bit cold and indifferent. As I like the hotel in general, it was unfortunate.
