Hotels in Serri

If physically you're here but mentally you're living it up in Serri, it's time to book that escape. Serri's downtown area is pretty short on accommodation, but you'll be able to crash in one of the 3 hotels within 10 kilometres of the action.

A big day of adventures can really wear you out. Zonk out at Il Giardino di Valentina and Antica Locanda Lunetta, a few of the most central hotels in the area.

Even though it's 12 kilometres from the downtown area, Barumini is definitely worth thinking about. It has 2 places to select from, including the Hotel Su Nuraxi and Diecizero.

An additional option is the Domu'e Luna, which is an awesome option if you're fine with travelling 20 kilometres to the main streets.

Attractions and Hotels Near Serri

Can't keep those feet still? If you're nodding furiously, then take off and discover the highlights of the wider Sardinia region. Nature lovers should plan an outing to some of Serri's incredible beaches and forests. A few other must-sees to whack on your list hit are ruins. If the weather is putting on a show (or even if it's not), you could also get out there and try out some fabulous activities like mountain biking and rock climbing.

Diamonds or diamantés? However you like to roll, you're bound to love a trip to Collinas, 30 kilometres away. With the Sa Domu e S'Orcu Tomb of the Giants and the Genna Maria Archaeological Museum to check out, you're not gonna be short on things to do. The Villa Serena and Sa Dom'e Forru are a few of the apartment and hotel options here. 30 kilometres to the west of Serri you'll also find Sardara, which is home to the Sardegna Termale Hotel & SPA and Antiche Terme di Sardara. Antica Casa Collu and San Pietro Church are just some of the most popular sites to explore in Sardara.

We only stayed a Locanda La Rosa for one night. We used it as an overnight stay before flying home from Cagliari the following morning. The property is well located for visiting the Barumini nuraghes. Parking was on the street but wasn't a problem as Pauli Arberei is a very small rural village. The highlight of Locanda La Rosa is really the hosts themselves. Fabiano and Maria Rosa were such lovely people who really seemed to sincerely enjoy looking after us. Although we had some language problems (resolved with a translation app) we had some good humoured discussions over dinner, discovering oneanothers interests and life histories. We were genuinely sad to leave.
