Sitting high atop a mountain ridge, you will be overlooking the mountain tops, peaks, and valleys of the peaceful valley in Wears Valley. Come to relax in this peaceful, quiet setting that is located just a few miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you will find all the attractions from Dollywood theme park, mountain coasters, dinner shows, more restaurants than you can handle, shopping, and more! Just down the road is the quaint mountain town of Gatlingburg and the main entrance to the National Park. All within less than a 10-20 minute drive!
Once you arrive at the top, you will see just how worth the climb is! Excellent roads all the way up! Once you walk up onto the porch you can see miles of beautiful clouds above layers of Mountains. Watch the golden eagles soar by and an occasional bear too!
Even when you are inside the cabin you don’t miss seeing anything through the solid wall of windows.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin will sleep 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. (plus a pack-n-play for a baby!) The Master bedroom is located upstairs in a soaring loft with panoramic views, a king bed, a private balcony, and full bath. The master loft includes a sitting area with pull-out sofa bed perfect for 2 children or 1 adult.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, pack-n-play, and a full bath is located just outside this bedroom. (both bathrooms include stand-up showers, no bathtubs)
In the living room, you can enjoy the stacked stone, easy to use, gas fireplace & watch your favorite shows on the large flat-screen with Direct TV. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to make a gourmet meal or you may cook out on the charcoal grill. Watch the sunset from the hot tub on the front porch. Enjoy views from 3 decks, all with private sitting areas.

Breathtaking
Family met in the middle at Breathtaking cabin. The cabin fulfilled its name with $1,000,000.00 views. We enjoyed our stay and accommodations are as pictured. We had a few requirements traveling with my 84 year young Mom - the accommodations worked for us. We had everything to cook with and enjoyed many meals together. The check in process and check out was easy peasy.

Gorgeous views
This cabin was wonderful. The views alone r worth the stay! You can truly c why the area is called the Smokies. The mountains go on forever and the location is so tranquil. There are about 8 cabins at the top of this area and Breathless was ideal place. The drive is Steep but blacktopped all the way and nothing to worry about. Trust me don’t let that stop u from seeing the view from the cabin porch! The cabin is well equipped and the loft bedroom has great views to wake up to of the mountain. The cabin has a weather alert system which was wonderful as there was a bad thunderstorm rolling in. It was helpful to know how bad the weather was forecasted to get and we felt connected which was calming. The outdoor seating is plentiful w a side gravel yard for sitting. Each balcony has sitting area but the oversized front swing was the bomb. The view is amazing and it was a great place to relax and unwind. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds r comfortable. Bathroom showers were very well done. The host was very easy to work w and even had the trees that were blocking a full view removed during our stay. Shout out to Steven for clearing it! A wonderful place to enjoy quiet and peaceful setting yet close enough to places in Wears Valley to eat and stock up. We have visited the area multiple times but this was the best view we have ever had. Highly recommend it.

This cabin was perfect for our family, we were a little worried about the drive up the mountain but after we did it a couple of times it was good. The cabin was everything we expected, our only complaint is the futon is broke and you cannot lay it out to sleep on it but thankfully we brought an air mattress. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best views in the Smokies
The cabin was exactly as listed. We expected the spectacular view from the front porch based on the listing photos, but were pleasantly surprised by a great view from small back deck off the master upstairs as well. The access road is a bit steep, but is paved and plenty wide. I can see how it could be tough to use after the occasional snowfall though. The beds were quite comfortable, which was appreciated after long days of hiking and visiting Dollywood and the Tuckaleechee Cavern. Being near the Townsend entrance to the GSM National Park, you'll be close to Cade's Cove, Laurel Falls and some of the more scenic parts of Pigeon River. Overall a great cabin in a great location. We'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing cabin in the mountains
This cabin rental is the way to go if you want a wonderful family vacation. It’s a shot ride to the city for family outings. It’s location is on a beautiful mountain side that over looks the town. Will book again in the fall!

Breathless, indeed!
My family of five just had the loveliest stay at this property. Views and sunsets are incredible, and we loved the swing and hot tub. We were very comfortable: beds, washer/dryer, kitchen gadgets, etc. Advice, if it’s helpful: stop at a grocery store on the way up the mountain. It takes a little time and concentration to safely get up/down the mountain. The vibe is totally worth it though!

On day 1 we didn’t have a washer and did not get notified of this until we noticed washer was locked. Two days later it got fixed but the musky moldy smell was awful. I’m not sure how long water had been sitting in it. There were bees swarming around the 2nd level balcony and around the front. We contacted Dondi about these issues and were told we’d get compensated for the issues but we still haven’t.. the last day we noticed bugs in kitchen by sink. The view is absolutely beautiful but the cabin needs some appliances updated. Communication could definitely be better.

This cabin captivated me from the moment I saw it. I wanted to take a trip with my 2 month old and two older kids on maternity leave but wanted to have the views even if we couldn’t do much with baby in tow or if it was cold. This fit the bill. This was the experience and view of a life time for my girlfriend and I ! This was exactly what she wanted for her birthday and it was amazing ! The Host Dondi was so wonderful to us and stayed in contact with us whenever we called !! The only word to describe this cabin and its’ view would be “Breathtaking “ ! This was truly “Gods Canvas “.

Great location & beautiful view..needs a handyman.
My husband and I stayed @ Breathless for 4 days. The location is perfect. The road up the mountain is quite steep but not bad once you get use to it. The views can't be beat from this home. There were things we noticed that we made the owner aware of immediately when we found them. One the WIFI displayed as unsecured. I communicated with the owner and she responded back that she had someone there already to fix some issues about a month ago. I told her that it wasn't that big of a deal and it would be fine. Next morning, I notice the toilet paper holder is not on the wall in the master bath as well as the microwave was not working. I let her know about both of these items again because I wanted her to know we found it this way. I told her these were not issues for us. She did not respond to my text. When we get back to the cottage we notice you can't even plug the microwave in because there are ground wires sticking out. We later find out that the fireplace doesn't work either and the dryer exhaust vent hose is not connected and blows lint into the closet. I didn't notify her of these issues since I got no reply the last time. Overall, our stay was great. We are not really fussy. Breathless just needs a handyman to fix the issues that are not only mentioned in this review but in previous reviews as well. Beautiful location & place that needs some TLC.

Stunning cabin and views
The cabin was absolutely amazing and beautiful. The view was breathtaking. A swinging day bed on the front porch was the perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. The cabin itself was well designed for easy living and just perfect for a small group. We had a slight issue for the kitchen when we got there. The owner answered her phone immediately and had someone there in 30 minutes to take care of it. The microwave did not work but they're waiting on the new one to arrive so we gladly worked without it. We monitored the bear paw prints on the back porch each morning so definitely secure your trash or you will have eager visitors at night lol. Would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

The view from the porch is awesome. The home was nice. Several problems ensued: microwave did not work, hot tub popped a breaker ( it was 24 hours later before someone came), the well pump failed. It took the host some time to respond. She did relocate us to a lovely home. She also told me she was going to give us a refund portion. It’s been two weeks and I have messaged her and tried calling. No answer and voicemail mailbox is full and cannot accept messages

Amazing views but some problems
I am not one to write reviews but in this circumstance I felt it was necessary. There is no doubt this cabin has spectacular views! Communication started off well with owner. When we arrived at the cabin, it became aware to us the pool was not in working condition and not useable. This was such a disappointment to my children who were all expecting to swim on our down time. This was never communicated to us from the owner before arrival. The first evening there, my little boy went to use the microwave and realized it wasn’t working. We realized it wasn’t plugged in, so my husband reached up to plug it in (in an upper cabinet) and got shocked. Pretty badly!! We then realized the outlet was completely exposed and was not working. I contacted the owner immediately and she stated to me the previous renters had mentioned it wasn’t working. That she would get maintenance out right away. Never even apologized for my husband getting shocked! Never apologized for not communicating (once again) that the microwave was not working. We went our entire trip with no microwave. VERY inconvenient. The following day I wrote to let her know the light above the shower was out as well. Assuming maintenance would be out soon, I figured he could fix that as well. Nope. Went entire stay showering in the dark. After that, communication was zero. I wrote her privately explaining our issues and disappointment to try and avoid a poor public review, but got no reply. The queen bed was also very uncomfortable, loud and squeaky as all get out. The drive up was VERY steep and windy as well. Just a heads up to future renters! :)

Great Vacation in the Smokies
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was a nice retreat on top of the mountains. Amazing views of the land to watch from many parts of the house. You will not regret staying here! The drive to the cabin can be a little daunting with the steep climb, but well worth it. Great location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well as all the local hikes. The host had everything pieced together wonderfully for our stay. Highly recommend!

Just Because Trip
My overall stay was very nice. I can’t say enough about the views and the location. There aren’t enough words to express the tranquility of this experience! My only gripe is the overwhelming dust in obvious places, tv, front view from couch upstairs, under beds, on the bathroom doors and in additional crevices. Oh and the floor mats in both bathrooms were dirty, worn and not cleaned or simply changed out before our arrival. I was also charged a full cleaning fee and was only given a $40 credit. I definitely felt this was not ok at all and tone deaf. According to this property’s booking calendar, this home stays pretty booked. A decision to only return $40 was a bad decision, made in poor taste and exudes greed over providing the guests with an appropriate resolution in accordance with cleanliness. I could say more but I’ll end my review here.
