It’s ok for the price but difficult to find because it’s not on any maps (even the Chinese driver couldn’t find it on the Chinese maps). We also couldn’t find the swimming pool even with directions. Perhaps, other people will stay and find both without issues but we struggled. Overall, it’s ok though. Good location for Subway (the underground train not the sandwich shop).
There was a problem from the start with check in. We made a late reservation around 9:30pm. When we got to the hotel they said their booking department closes so they didn’t have my information...When I wanted to brush my teeth there were no amenities whatsoever in the room except soap and shampoo in the shower. I called the front desk to ask if they had any tooth brushes. They said they did, but they would not bring it up to the room, I would have to go to concierge myself. Poor service, mediocre room, and an overall bad experience. I would never return to this hotel or any of their chains.
Got a room in 35 floor-- had a nice city view. Had a very spacious bathroom and a balcony. Worth the money. There was no WIFI in the bathroom.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
The hotel was in a good location. Easy access to ground transportation, restaurants and shopping.
The rooms are in serious need of some maintenance and up-keep. Tiles missing from shower floor. Wall paper coming loose. Damp smell.
This hotel has not been updated for at least 20 years. If the weather is not above 30 degrees there is no aircon. There’s holes in the hallway walls, dirt and debris everywhere. The room had not been dusted in what seemed 2 weeks. There was no body wash in our room. The pictures look nothing like what the room actually was.
No working Air-con in the rooms, tooth pick stayed on the floor for 3 nights (gives an idea on cleanliness), bedsheets changed only twice in 6 nights, no replacement towels twice....
This hotel is a two stars at best. The rooms have damaged furnitures, dirty carpets, and the chairs had deep stains on them. the rooms seem to be very different in terms of layout so what you get may vary quite a bit (my friends got three different types of rooms). The facilities were poorly constructed to begin with and did not age well over the years. I could see gaps in where the bathroom sink was installed and looked like something an amateur contractor installed when they were still learning. The stairwell was dirty and smelled moldy (I was close enough to the first floor that I used the stairwell when I was in a hurry). The stairwell also was not lighted and you could easily fall if you are not careful (I used my phone flashlight). There were no gym, office, or any other amenities you would associate with a hotel. There is a Japanese hotel on the first floor but the prices are high (About 200 RMB per person and the food was average at best). I will not be staying at that hotel again even if the price was only $52/nights.
