Dog-Friendly Cabin on Private, No-Motor Nature Lake

*New to VRBO!* (For reviews, refer to other hosting platforms. We have been hosting for 3 years and loving it!)

Little black cabin on the water in the woods. Located a mile from the larger rec lakes in Shawano, WI, Camp Miller sits on a small, private no-motor lake. This quiet retreat is fully furnished and offers 2 bedrooms, 2 pullout sofas, 1 bathroom, deck, and small dock. Take a peaceful ride in the canoe, bring your rods to catch bluegill, & enjoy some outdoor cooking on the gas grill or fire pit. A nature-lover's dream!

We offer WiFi and a ROKU TV... or simply enjoy our collection of DVD's :)

This is a quiet, nature-lover's retreat. 800 sq foot 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with open kitchen & living area. Enjoy the renovated space, designed for smaller groups to be together while enjoying the views of the lake. Sit & enjoy water views from inside, on the deck, by the fire pit, or on the dock itself. You'll see eagles, sandhill cranes, ducks, and other wildlife. You're welcome to our canoe, for peaceful floating. Bring your bikes or walking shoes for a nice 2 mile loop around the lake.

Reminder that we have a naturalized shoreline, not a beach area. This is not a swimming lake- although we are 2 miles from the larger rec lakes and public beach.

Wonderful place for a quick getaway!
We loved this little cabin. It was the perfect space for us to get away for the weekend and relax. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and were happy with quietness of the neighborhood/lake. Wonderful place. We will definitely be looking to book again!

Everything was exactly what we needed. Perfectly quite cabin tucked away on a remote lake.
We were in Shawano for our yearly family reunion, and we needed a place where we could come and relax after golfing, fishing, eating and celebrating with some adult beverages with the family. This was very clean and situated back off the main area of Shawano where it does get pretty busy. So, this was an idea location, bonus us that the owners were truly great. They were extremely easy to communicate with and were very available if needed and welcoming to their guests which just made things even more enjoyable. We have traveled extensively, and we would highly recommend Camp Miller. Plus, we could bring one of our dogs which was even a bigger bonus. Sincerely Jeff and Monica Schultz

Great cabin, neighbors were a little unfriendly
This is a lovely and comfortable cabin with everything you need. The chef's knives were even sharp, which is really unusual. The property is as described; the no-motor lake is covered in lilypads and full of frogs; a pair of sand cranes stayed camped out on the lawn for a lot of our stay. The hosts have done a fantastic job and the cabin is in a really cool location. However, the neighborhood is not LGBTQIA friendly. My partner, who is of nonbinary gender but not super obvious about it, stuck out like a sore thumb. They got a lot of really strange looks (and one warning-off with an AR-15) from the neighbors when they walked the dog. I don't advise queer folk visit, despite the lovely rental. That's certainly not the fault of the hosts, though, and if you pass as cis-het, this cabin is really worth visiting. Also, our dog loved, loved, loved it. She loved the dog toys laying around when we got there; she loved the lake; she loved the local hiking. The Menemonee cultural museum and Gibson Island, both within a half hour's drive, are really worth your time as well.

Cute little cabin getaway
Cute cabin perfect for a family of 4. If you like wildlife and nature this is a great place to stay. We saw a family of ducks, family of geese, woodpeckers, butterflies, and turtles in our short stay. The restaurants we picked in Shawano were excellent and Old Glory Candy Store was a good stop. We would recommend to anyone wanting a little quieter getaway.

A Magical New Year's Stay at Cozy Cabin
Our family's New Year's stay at Cozy Cabin in Wisconsin was nothing short of magical. The cabin blended rustic charm with modern amenities, making it a cozy and comfortable retreat. Surrounded by a winter wonderland, we enjoyed outdoor adventures and evenings by the fireplace. The highlight was watching New Year's fireworks over the lake. A truly memorable and heartwarming experience!
