Get cozy in The Timberlake Blue, a lovely 2BR+1BA guest cottage sitting on a lakefront property surrounded by views of nature. The cabin, separate from the main house, can comfortably sleep 4 and offers a row boat, kayaks, and inflatables that guests can use to explore the lake. Dogs are also welcome (as long as they are potty trained). We also have bicycles and a BBQ grill on the deck. Please note there’s no kitchen but basics like a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge are provided.

Guest Access:
Prior to your arrival, you’ll receive a unique access code for a seamless and secure self-check-in experience. You will have access to the entire guest cottage. Please note the main house is not included in the rental (except for the shared back deck overlooking the lake)

The Neighborhood:
Shelton is known for its welcoming community. The residents are friendly and often engage in local events and activities. It’s also a quiet neighborhood, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The cottage is just a short drive from downtown Shelton, where guests can find shopping, dining, and entertainment options. There is also an off-leash dog park and ultimate frisbee park with tennis courts two blocks away. The lake itself has a park with a playground for kids, and a park with a picnic area and boat launch (non-motorized boats only).

Getting Around:
This house is remote enough that you will need a car to get to and from restaurants and grocery stores in the busier parts of town. Guests can use our bikes for going around the lake or for exploring the nearby area. It’s a beautiful place for long strolls too so bring comfortable walking shoes!

» Kids must wear life jackets in / around the lake

» We do not accept 3rd party reservations. This means you may not book on behalf of someone else. The name on the reservation needs to be the person staying in our cottage.
» We require ID verification and pre-arrival form completion upon booking

We check in with you and make sure you have all you need. We are available by text or email during your stay.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a microwave. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer.

If you want a quiet getaway next to a tiny lake this is the spot. Very relaxing for us city folk. The guest house is very comfortable.
