In my opinion this room was not worth £150 for the night as I have stayed in much better hotels for almost half the cost. There was only half a roll of toilet paper and no milk for the tea and only one sachet of coffee. This was remedied when I asked for more in the morning. Room also seemed a bit out dated and could do with a freshen up.
Clean and comfortable, spacious room.
Easy check in and out

Disliked: Staff & service
Trip to sticks
No point having (continental) breakfast if dining room is not opened until 8am. The same time most business people have to be at work at 8am.
Also, forget Mondays, bingo night leaves no room for eating in.

Room comfortable and spacious. A good base for visiting the area or staying for work.
Arrived on a Thursday to be told there was no food being served until Friday. They were also waiting on an alcohol delivery so there was nothing on tap apart from a lager.
I did eat there on the Friday, burger and chips which was fine. I did only require a bed and a shower for three nights so I did find it suited my requirements but would have been disappointed had I required more than that. The room was located next to a very busy road, it was advertised stating this so was of no surprise to me. Too noisy to have a window open daytime or nightime.
The overall property was reasonable and the rooms were comfortable, if small.
The toilet and shower facilities were clean.
However, there were some major issues:
(1) There was no cook and hence no hot food available. Also no food on a Sunday evening in the close vicinity.
(2) There was a leak in a sewer waste pipe which was dripping in the restaurant area but it was not closed off.
(3) Although the rooms were generally clean there was a brown smear under the handle in one room. Also a kettle in a room was brown inside and not in a fit state for use.
(4) There were no lounging facilities outside of the hours that staff were on duty.
(5) There was no staff on site overnight and no emergency contact in case of an incident.
Room on entry was perfect for a family very clean and tidy, thats where it ends when putting the kids to bed the metal bunk beds squeak so bad they even squeak when moving a foot, the single metal bed is no better, the wardrobe was not fixed on the wall and wobbled, the matress on the double bed was perfect the mattresses on the kids beds were horrendous the metal was digging into them i ended up making beds on the floor as it was too late to move the kids and we couldnt find any other accommodation, when trying to start the shower u literally had to get in the cubicale and turn it on, no way was u going to stay dry, no plug protecters in the sockets and the bottom bunk had a socket right by there head kirsty did apologise and move us to the executive suite but we wouldnt have all fitted also the hot tap in the bathroom was very loose kirsty was very apologetic in the morning when we explained we slept on the floor all night no refund was offered even a partial refund, breakfast was good!
Decent stay , ticks all the basics well.
Ideal for an overnight work stay .
Nice continental breakfast .
Downstairs decor modern and was nice and quiet .
Room was small but it was a good price and had everything it needed to have. Only issue was the location of the room meant the free WiFi didn’t work, but other than that it was a lovely place to stay.
Very disappointing hotel, felt like it was all too much trouble for the staff, especially at breakfast. Only continental breakfast don't recall seeing this at the time of booking. Had to ask for fresh pillow case as tge in the room was dirty. Very noisy room
Wi-Fi was only available in the bar. No Wi-Fi at all from room 12. Asked to be moved where there was signal (had a lot of work to do) but unable to help. Booked 3 nights but left after 2. Terrible nights sleep with the sound of HGVs passing by all night. Bed was comfy and room was clean. But won’t be staying again. I did like the Inns history provided in the welcome book.
Stayed for one night for business. Really good location to where I needed to be and very fairly priced.
The lady who runs it was so helpful and very attentive.
The room was basic but perfect for what I needed and the bed was clean and comfortable.
Disappointing nights sleep but lovely staff & food
Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Hotel was clean and presented nicely. Food was great. However the beds in the family room were extremely uncomfortable. The bunk bed made so much noise it was impossible to sleep on resulting on us having to move the kids matresses onto the floor. The mattresses were veey lumpy and bumpy and had to double over the duvet to try and help (luckily we had blankets we brung for the kids to stay warm). The walls are paper thin and can every single noise. Not nice when you're next to a room with loud swearing people next door. Could also here every foot step up and down the stairs in the corrider. Some soundproofing and new beds are definitely needed. Definitely not worth the money paid for an awful nights sleep which was a shame as we was due to go longleat the next day and had very tired and miraerble kids who usually sleep well in hotels we've stayed in before.
Lovely place, nicely decorated internally but in need of work outside.
Smallest double bed ever but room clean and all staff very friendly and courteous.
