The customer service was excellent on the property itself. My biggest complaints are Wyndham sending me a text to check-in by phone was a bit odd and it wasn’t immediately clear that I could check-in in person. Out of fear of an overbooking disaster I checked in online from the link text to me. When checking-in online it is mandatory to sign yourself up to be contacted for offers. There is no checkbox to undo. In the fine print they say the only way you can remove yourself from this list is to call, email, or send a letter to a certain department. When I called the number they answered as the “Privacy Request” department. And after calling twice they said both times that they could not help with the request because that is not something that they do. Will not be staying at any Wyndham brand again through no fault of the hotel, though the hotel wasn’t perfect either. At the hotel there is a sign posted in the bathroom that towels get replaced every 3 days unless we request more frequently. But that was not clear that room service does not come at all (not to clear trash or nothing). We overheard the front desk tell someone else that room service does not come (by then it was our last night). Also, we had a crib for our baby. The crib was white and had visibly black dirt all around it. My wife bought Clorox wipes and we went through several of them turning the wipes black.

The kindness of the staff but the handicap shower gout kepts washing up as I showered like black worms. I got and and reported it they offered to change tooms but I was check out next day. I had to wear shoes while I showered

Come for the location, stay for the service.
I didn’t expect a handicap accessible room when I checked in, but when I saw the walk-in shower and all of the handrails in the bathroom, I was really glad that I was assigned this room. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I picked this hotel because it is on a direct line between Shreveport and Dallas, where I live, but knowing what I know now, I would happily pick it again.

It was a great stay. The people were nice. The room amenities were awesome. The breakfast was large and varied. My only complaint is the AC unit. It sounded like it was on its last leg.

Cross country trip landed us for a night stay in Shreveport. When I find one of the newer La Quinta hotels, I typically choose them. I was not disappointed, actually I was very impressed: room was very clean, bed comfy and great water pressure. Good AC, and we heard no noise from outside. Staff was very friendly, especially Timme at front desk. Although we did not use the pool which looked really clean and inviting, we enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables by the pool while sipping on a cold beverage from our cooler. Area felt safe, parking well lit. Breakfast - nothing special, pretty typical free breakfast but was satisfying enough. 2 thumbs up, will stay here again on my next road trip thru this part of country.
