Father/son trip: perfect location, very relaxing. The Host was quick to provide tons of information. Had everything needed (cooked meat outside and a microwave inside). The space and bunk on the loft was a little tight for the son who is 5’9” but it was manageable.

Style was gorgeous, attention to detail impeccable. Every thing new and clean, most comfortable bed I’ve experienced at any luxury hotel. The soaking tubs and bath robes so comfortable. The concierge service wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for more useful amenities the gas grill, out door fireplace and rock cleaning station were more than appreciated. I would give this place a 210% better than many luxury hotels I’ve stayed.

Was exactly as posted and couldn’t ask for more. Communication was great and prompt. So great we are planning to revisit again in warmer months to actually enjoy all the water amenities available.

Cad (owner) thought of everything when putting this cabin together. There is everything you need for a perfect stay. Location, cleaniness, communication, information and ideas for spending your day hiking, water sports and local eateries. Spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with my husband and our fur babies. The Lake House Cottage was perfect for my husband, dogs, and myself. We loved the addition of the loft in this cottage because it worked perfectly as a storage area and allowed us to utilize the space more effectively. The view of lake is wonderful, and the cozy porch was very cozy.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days during October. This was our first visit to Arkansas. Magnolia Cottage was a perfect place to stay for 2 people. The cottage has pretty much everything we needed. The kitchen is equipped with what is needed to prepare basic meals and we used the charcoal grill outside the cottage. We appreciated that it was located in a quiet, wooded area on Lake Ouachita which is a less populated lake away from the busyness of Hot Springs. It is an easy drive from the cottage to area attractions near Hot Springs. There is a great trailhead down the road that we hiked for a couple hours. Garvan Woodland Gardens is a must see. We did the trolley car ride in Hot Springs which gave us some great information about the area and the history of the city. We are native Minnesotans and are now living in Texas. We wanted to find something that reminded us of our cabin in northern Minnesota and this did not disappoint. The lakes in this area are beautiful! We definitely would return here.
