The architecture, location and overall feel of the hotel is amazing. But once you scratch below this veneer of beauty, its a hotel that is striving hard but failing to achieve some basics. For example, we arrived at the main restaurant just past 7.30pm for dinner, only to be told by the first wait staff on what was NOT available on the menu. Accepting this, we proceeded to order but were then told that items ordered were also NOT available. For a hotel that is claiming to be of decent quality, perhaps its better to have a smaller menu and ensure availability rather than a larger one that fails to deliver? As a staycation, found some of these unacceptable, and highly unlikely to revisit this hotel. The room was ok but better value elsewhere

A refreshing twist to conventional hotel settings
An award-winning hotel (of the moment) to stay in if you're into architectural, rather modern interiors and seeing greens/plants everywhere you turn. Staff members are friendly which is a plus.
