The location was great. What I didn't realize was I could not park at the hotel. You have to park outside the Sirmione castle area and catch a ride to the hotel. That was a process. It added about 30 minutes to my trip. Luckily, everyone spoke English and was very helpful or else we may have missed our check in time.

Overall a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is great and the outside terrace has a lovely view ! Very cute little town and the rooms have mostly everything you would need (except an iron or a kettle) would definitely recommend staying here!

Great hotel, friendly staff particularly reception as they were very informative about the area and always cheerful and pleasant. Very comfortable bed, and excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Only downside was noise from adjoining room, we were able to hear conversation from their bathroom.

We wanted something close to the beach and this hotel was perfect. Our room at the top of the stairs had a great view of the castle. Everything in old town Sirmione was right there. Very convenient, clean, and a hearty breakfast daily.

Bugs in the room
Hotel is what you would expect at that price range, little more than a bed to sleep on. What you would not, and should not, expect are bugs in the room. There were dozens of them, little ones but still. I personally evicted two of them right from our bed and then woke up to my wife screaming because something was crawling on her.

Awesome staff, great location
The staff, Alan and Carlotta, were exremely kind and wonderful. Family-run this hotel is a gem and the location is incredible! It’s in less rhan a stone’s throw to the fort and 5-10 minute walk to the Grotte. It has an elaborate and tasty breakfast you usually don’t find elsewhere. You cannot miss with this hotel!

My husband, 14 year old son and I spend two nights at the hotel . It is a great base for exploring Sirmione and the other towns around lake Garda . They staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and gave us great pointers in what to do and see and how to travel around the lakes and back to Verona . While the hotel did not have a swimming pool , which is essential for a 14 year old they give us vouchers for the local Spa Terme Di Sirmione . There are two thermal pools which have alot of sulphur, so not great for swimming. There is also fresh water pool , suanas and sun terrace which we used and really enjoyed , great way to relax after a day's sight seeing . Would highly recommend the hotel and Sirmione as a place to stay

Great location near castle
This was a great place to stay, it was close to everything, and right near the castle. The only bad thing was that the walls were paper thin and you hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next to you. Other than that I can only say nice things about this hotel.
