Beautiful Cabin in a Great Setting
This was one of the best experiences I've had with a VRBO property and property manager. Things I liked: The cabin was perfect for us. Even though the weather was rainy, the property has plenty of covered porch area that allowed us to spend time outside. The communication with the manager was prompt and courteous with very clear instructions and directions to the location. The clean-up before our departure was very reasonable. I have stayed at plenty of properties where they wanted you to do the job of the cleaners and make everything spotless. Not here. The cleaning requests made perfect sense and we did not feel like we had to work before we left. The setting was great because there are not neighbors right next door so we could just enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about disturbing anyone. All of the amenities one would want were available: a generous supply of towels and complimentary toiletries, fully stocked kitchen (we cooked all our meals and always had everything we needed right at hand), many games available to use, cozy gas fireplace, large (~6 people), newer hot tub. WIFI that never let us down. The only two minor negatives (and I do mean minor) were that the hot water tank did seem to run out surprisingly fast. And (this was not at all the fault of the owners) the sound of the highway traffic was always in the background when we were outside. I book 3-4 cabins per year and I am already planning to stay here again within the next year. Amazing!

A beautiful cabin in the woods!
We loved the cabin for its spaciousness, large common areas, vast porches, and overall amenities. The privacy and solitude allowed our group to not worry too much about noise, and enjoy ourselves. Plenty of parking combined with proximity to all the cascades have to offer.

Awesome cabin for skiing
We had an amazing stay close to Stevens Pass for a skiing weekend. Not much by way of groceries near, so be sure to shop before heading up. However, hot tub was awesome! Fireplace great! And kitchen well stocked. Perfect spot only about 15 minutes to the ski resort. We had a great stay!

Awesome rental!
Welcoming space with room for everyone. Nice fireplace living room area. Felt private on lot and like you were in the woods. Loved open kitchen to di ing and living room set up. Only down side was poor water pressure and poor temperature control on water. Would stay again!

30th birthday
Property was amazing, very accurate to listing. It did have some strange issues such as floor tiles loose, metal sticking out of a floor hatch, hot water was sporadic. House was amazing and a very good stay.

Nice wood lodge in semi-remote area
Easy to get to actually (Google Maps worked fine for us) from Seattle. Very nice structure, has lots of board games. 3 bedrooms. Close to the town so you can get any last minute things. Love that it's a gated.

Perfect little getaway!
We enjoyed our stay for the long weekend! It is secluded but not too far from the main road so it is easy to get in and out of. The property management company was very responsive and went above and beyond to answer our questions and needs. Can’ wait to come back!

Vacation Renter Beware!
This is a review of our stay at the Grande Lodge, Skykomish December 28-30, 2021. Pros: - The home is very private and has a neat log cabin feel. - The hot tub was nice on the back deck. - It snowed during our stay, and it was beautiful. - It’s close to Stevens Pass Ski area. Cons: - The major concern that we had with this home is the lack of smoke alarms/ carbon monoxide alarms. The alarms had either been removed from the home and/or the batteries had been removed. This is extremely concerning especially because the upstairs bedrooms are heated with space heaters. I believe this violates Washington state law requiring rental homes to have smoke alarms/ carbon monoxide alarms. We noticed this on the last day of our stay. - This home has an issue with the tankless hot water heater. On every day of our stay the hot water in the shower fluctuated from hot to ice cold for several minutes, and back to hot water. The water heater in the storage room would start to beep while the home lost its hot water. It’s not much fun to be covered in soap in ice cold water. This also occurred during dish washing, etc. - One of the neat features of this home is the large gas fireplace in the living room. Unfortunately, during our stay, the fireplace did not work. We did communicate our concerns to the property management company Tree Line Vacation Rentals during our stay. They did come out the first day to try to fix the fireplace. Unfortunately, the pilot light went out before we returned to the home. They also claimed that the hot water heater was working fine, contrary to our experience. I do not typically write bad reviews, but Tree Line Vacation Rentals property management company has not responded to multiple emails that I have sent them following our stay. Unfortunately, we had booked this home for another stay in January 2022, however, due to the above concerns, I have emailed them several times regarding our concerns and our desire to cancel our reservation. They have failed to respond to my request and their complete lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. I am still unsure if they have canceled my reservation or not. Please beware if you rent a home from this rental company. I would not be writing this review if they simply showed the integrity to respond to my concerns rather than ghosting me!
