Derby Delight.

A fabulous build converted in to a great hotel located in the historic Catherdral quarter. We had a junior double at the back for one night. Super quiet comfy bed and fab shower and bath. Definitely recommend. Located near some great old historic pubs,art galleries the amazing Museum of Making and the Cathedral.

Unacceptable web service from hotels horrid hotel!

Do not book this hotel through hotels.com. It is dirty and run down and I really did not want to sleep in my room. When I complained I was told that as booked and pre paid through hotels website they could not offer any refund and contacting hotels.co.uk or .com is impossible and hence any reparation similarly so. I will never book this hotel again and I will never book through hotels again. Disgusting service from the website and horrid dirty hotel.

Fascinating building, great service

We found this to be a novel hotel in a fascinating historic building. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

A lovely characterful place that the owners are clearly trying hard with and providing great service. With some more attention to detail on the finishing off and maintenance of the fittings, and the overall cleanliness of the rooms, this could be excellent.

The property was really run down. I had a suite, the plug sockets were coming out of walls, shower didn’t run, and the TV and electrics set up was a health and safety nightmare. Wouldn’t return
