While lastminute.com.au has an awesome database of Vietnam accommodations, you unfortunately won't find anywhere to stay in or close to Soc Trang.

There's no need to stress out though. Bac Lieu is located around 50 kilometres away and offers some fantastic places to crash, such as the Resort Nha Mat and Tran Vinh Hotel.

Looking for more things to do? Spend a few hours discovering the Ong Temple and the Military Museum. You'll find them in Can Tho, 50 kilometres to the northwest of Soc Trang. If you're keen to stay in Can Tho, look into the Victoria Can Tho Resort and Kim Tho Hotel. Or, you could stay in Binh Hoa Phuoc, 75 kilometres to the north of Soc Trang, where you can choose from the Mekong Rustic Cai Be and Mekong Ecolodge.
