On arrival check is was easy. The actually use keys on a brass ring. The room it self was comfortable but basic. The bed was OK but only 6 inches off the floor. It has an A/C unit that works well but the hallways are not air conditioned so it was a bit warm when you left the room. I was on the top floor and the elevator worked well. The shower was a bit strange with no full enclosure so that when you showered the water ended up spraying on the floor. Nice toiletries and it was great that the door were solid wood. The room had a refrigerator and a coffeemaker but the coffee is not free so bring some instant with you.
Breakfast was the same everyday, scrambled eggs, little hot dogs, fried ham, cold meats and cheeses, assorted breads and a few other items. It is included in the price of the room. This is better than most American low cost hotels and they work hard to keep it stocked. I liked the fresh sliced tomato pieces. They had an expresso machine and teas available as well as juices. So overall, nice breakfast.
The biggest complaint is the internet, which is OK but it jumps from good to marginal on a regular basis. You could be in the middle of watching something and it disconnects. I had to sit in the hallways at times to do my wifi calling.
Diagonally across from the hotels is a nice market with stores, food vendors and some great bakery products.
I would stay here again as the price is outstanding, the room comfortable and the people helpful.
