Situated on 4.13 acres in the prestigious Starr View Estates. 3 spacious bedrooms with views from every room in the house! Comfortably sleeps 6 (master- king bed, guest bedroom 1- king bed, guest bedroom 2- queen bed). Tastefully remodeled with concrete floors throughout and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Open floor plan with a charming living room, dining area, and large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances . Fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views and the most amazing stargazing from the wrap around patio. 6 person hot tub on the back porch is the perfect place to "wine down" with a glass of wine and take in the amazing mountain views and calmness of the Sonoita topography. So close to all Sonoita has to offer including wineries, brewery, restaurants & hiking!

Sonoita/Elgin features more than 15 wineries and tasting room. Also known as a great spot for hunting, bird watching, and star gazing. Tons of hiking opportunities including the "Arizona Trail". Patagonia Lake State park is a 30 minute drive, and Parker Canyon Lake is about 45 minutes away. Kartchner Caverns State Park with amazing cave tours is only 30 minutes away.

This is a wonderful property. Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Spotlessly clean. Great location in high Sonoran close to town and wineries. Host is kind and responsive. Going to Sonoita? Book this property immediately.

Gorgeous views!
We had a wonderful stay at the Wine Down! We loved the (fantastic) bottle of wine the owners provided. That was a nice surprise. The home is clean and decorated beautifully. It’s close to town and to local wineries. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice addition. Our only suggestion would be providing safety bars for the two sliding doors.

Everything about our stay was easy and relaxing. No issues getting in. Loved the notebook with all the info right in the entry. Everything was easy to find and the kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee filters and random things which was kind and helpful.

Summer Celebration
My friends and I were celebrating the end of school year and a birthday down in Sonoita. We had a wonderful time staying at The Wine Down house! It was so comfortable and had plenty of room for the five of us. Plus it was so close to all the wineries. The hot tub and star gazing was our favorite part after a long day of exploring. Can’t wait to come back here again!

We had such an amazing time and in a beautiful home in a perfect location with our friends. We were able to relax and enjoy the property, wineries, farmer’s market and delicious local food. Wonderful getaway
We had a wonderful time at the wine down lodge! The house is so clean and spacious, yet cozy. We loved hanging out on the front porch bird watching and seeing the pronghorns. The hot tub was such a treat at night under the beautiful stars. Perfect location with proximity and ease to the wineries. We enjoyed a few spectacular gravel bike rides during our visit as well. The host was accommodating and quick to respond. We would love to come visit again!

Simply perfect
We came for a wine weekend getaway and found the perfect place! We hardly left the house at all - enjoyed the beautiful vistas, hot tub, movies, cooking and wine. We needed a weekend getaway to unwind and recharge. Wine Down was just the answer! This lovely home was clean and comfortable, with a jacuzzi to watch the beautiful sunset off of the Santa Rita Mountains.

Great place!
4 of us recently stayed at this property earlier this month. It was clean and had great furnishings, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners sent us a list of area wineries prior to our arrival which came in handy as far as planning and being able to do some research in advance. The views from the house are great, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. We were able to check in early which was a nice bonus. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend this property!
