This hotel is run as if family run. Every single staff member we met throughout the entire stay was amazingly helpful and lovely and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The front desk staff were all amazingly attentive and could not stop offering us recommendations and assistance. The breakfast had a lot of options and the hotel itself is in walking distance from the main area of Sorrento, but quiet enough to feel separate. There is a bus from right outside the front doorstep if the ten minute walk is too much. We would definitely stay again.

This Hotel had amazing staff. They were accommodating and friendly. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the center of Sorrento so it can be a bit of walk but the views were amazing as it sits above the town.

The front desk was super knowledgeable and knew everything about the city we were in. They gave us lovely advice on where to visit and how to visit them for the best price. I highly recommend this hotel. My stay was lovely and the rooms were well kept.

Staff are not helpful. They had us waiting for a bus that would never come as they said the bus we needed stopped right outside. It in fact did not actually drive pass our hotel at all. Needless to say, we walked everywhere that required us be on time for something. Ants crawling everywhere in the room and you must give your key every time you leave for the maid to go in. However, no new towels or new soap was ever given. They simply made the bed and took the garbage.

Property was nice and clean. Very basic amenities in the room. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing missing was a pool but they did have a jacuzzi on the roof. The bus stop right outside the hotel was very useful. Breakfast in the morning was basic but again staff was very lovely. We would stay again. Sitting on our balcony in the mornings and evenings was lovely.

Fantastic. I had looked at a lot of hotels when making a reservation for Sorrento and I could not have been happier with the one we chose in hotel britannia. Perfect location only a 10 minute walk with beautiful scenery down to the main area of Sorrento town. After a hectic and stressful day of travelling, we were welcomed by Giuseppe with an ice cold beer and coca cola for my wife which was a lovely touch. I will definitely return again when next visiting Sorrento.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Britannia for our honeymoon. Giuseppe was an amazing receptionist. He provided us with valuable insight and recommendations for our excursions, and he was always friendly and hospitable when we came and went.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Explained the transportation and gave us recommendations. Very clean place. Was about a 10-15 min walk to city center but hotel is right next to a bus stop as well.

Sorrento stay
The staff was AWESOME. Very helpful for all of our questions about travel, excursions, etc. We had an amazing view from our balcony and the rooftop was also spectacular. Room was cozy and clean. Only draw back for the location was the sidewalk to downtown Sorrento ends about 100meters from the hotel, and the street is very busy/narrow. That was a bit unsettling, but we did it no problem. The bus stopped right in front of the hotel too.
