If you're on the hunt for somewhere to kip for the night in Soryong-ri, South Korea, there aren't too many places close by. But you'll have stacks of choice if you drive a tiny bit further out. Take your pick of 21 various sorts of accommodation within 30 kilometres of the heart of Soryong-ri.

You might have to pull out your maps app and travel outside of the city to discover them, but the Holiday Inn Gwangju and the Ramada Plaza Gwangju are terrific options. The Gukje Business Hotel and the Hotel Prado are two more options worth a look.

Still struggling to find accommodation? The Prince Motel and the OxbloodK may be what you're after. The first is 25 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 25 kilometres away. Make sure you cover all your bases by also looking into the Pedro's House - Hostel, 20 kilometres away.

Centralized location, near to shopping area with food and convenience stores around. Rooms are clean and big. Basic service rendered at counter but I'm not fussed. Everything is quite self-served so if you just need a comfortable stay, you got it.
