Nettes Ferienhaus mit gewissen Abstrichen
Das Haus war sehr stickig, was sich nach 2 Tagen lüften aber gelegt hat. Vermutlich wurde das Haus länger nicht mehr vermietet. Auch die Schränke luden nicht gerade dazu sein genutzt zu werden, wird haben daher aus den Koffern gelebt.
Der Swimmingpool ist leider (wenn überhaupt) nicht direkt zugänglich (wie aus den Bildern im Internet suggeriert wird).und es wäre schön gewesen, wenn man Holz zum Befeuern des Kamins hätte erwerben können.
Das Haus selbst würde etwas mehr Pflege vertragen, wie z.B. die Holzfenster streichen, die eine oder andere zerbrochene Bodenfliese in der Küche ersetzen, Moskitonetze in den Fenstern ordentlich anbringen.
Aber: der Vermieter ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Ich war in das Haus schon beim Eintreten sofort schockverliebt und es ist ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen, wenn man auf alte rustikale Steinhäuser steht). Der früh morgendliche Kaffee bei Sonnenaufgang aud der wunderschönen Steinterrasse mit Blick ins kleine Stigliano und über das weitläfige Tal (auch auf Siena) ist einfach zauberhaft und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Es gibt viele Sehensürdigkeiten im Umkresi von ca. 50 km zu besichtigen und auch die kleine Bottega in Stigliano war eine Bereicherung. Es gibt dort sogar glutenfreie Speisen und den "Amaro del Vecchio Toscano" sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
Unser Fazit: Wenn man bereit dazu ist selbst einen Besen in die Hand zu nehmen und nicht zu zimperlich bei der Hygiene ist, kann man dort die Ruhe voll und ganz genießen.
