It's located 340 kilometres to the south of South Korea's capital, Seoul.

Mother Nature's handiwork can be found in many places around Soyu. Just 45 kilometres away, Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park is an excellent place to start. Yeongchwisan Mountain sits 35 kilometres away and is another pleasant spot to find some peace and quiet.
