We usually stay at the Oxford but they don’t have a rewards loyalty system and they’ve become very expensive and reduced their amenities. The Ramada is part of Wyndham which you can get loyalty points through so we feel like they appreciate our return visits. So I think this is our new regular place! We have a young daughter and we really appreciate the great indoor pools and slide. Also that it’s open late and early so she can use it whether we go in the morning before check out or if we get in late. There was staff constantly cleaning which I really appreciated. A fenced doggy area and a dog watering station by the front door so you really felt your furry family was very welcome. The only complaints I have is the young lady at the front desk was kind of rude when I told her my fiancé had a loyalty account (he was waiting in the truck with our daughter while I checked in) and she immediately seemed suspicious of me. She followed up by asking “do you know his name? Do you even know his award points info?” I responded with “well we’re getting married! So. Yes!” Just felt quite rude though I’m sure she didn’t mean it that way. Also the restaurant forgot to make my daughter and fiancé’s dinner (or forgot to bring it out). So both were cold when served.
Also $7 for a can of beer is nuts! But I LOVED the two fire pits that were going out in the sudden snow that hit. That was beautiful and oh so welcoming and you could buy smores kits for them.
