The staff was very friendly and quick to respond if we needed any help. The property is dated but they were making small improvements during our stay there. We loved our sea view room, watching the morning sunrise. The close proximity to restaurants was great. Bring your walking shoes! We would stay there again.

Dover Beach Hotel will be seeing me again soon. I loved my room, the bed was super comfy and the staff were super nice and helpful. I did not get an opportunity to eat at the restaurant but my friends who did loved their meals. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks for taking so good care of us!

Great value on the water
A good value hotel on the water. Arrived late at airport and hotel arranged taxi. Very near Sandals resort, stayed a dover beach the night we arrived and walked to Sandals next morning

Great for long term stays since there is a fridge, microwave & electrical tea kettle. It's been around awhile, but it's clean and has 24 hour security along with 2 pools and a restaurant. The standard room was very large with lots of storage area, large bathroom, good hot water in the shower stall and sink. The space is larger than some apartments in desirable areas in Manhattan (NY). People in the open areas talking makes it a bit noisy

I was celebrating my 50th birthday, I was traveling solo and I felt totally safe! All the staff was so very nice and helpful. The property was alway's clean.I also got recommended a very decent and safe taxi guy ( Andy) I was so comfortable being on the beach by myself..it was amazing! I even received a gift from the hotel for my birthday. I would definitely stay here again with family or solo.The hotel is located right on St Lawrence gap so it's easy to take a nice stroll. The water is so blue and clean white sand! Barbados is amazing! There is a little restaurant right across the street from the hotel and the food was delicious! I also had some really good pizza down the gap.If you want a nice ,quiet peaceful stay, book your room at the Dover beach hotel.

Great stay !!
We had an amazing stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The on site restaurant was a little over priced food wise. Located perfectly at the end of the st Lawrence gap where it’s still quiet but close to everything. The only downfall to this hotel is the drug dealers constantly bugging you as soon as you walk onto the beach and occasionally yelling to me as they walk by my balcony.

Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Hotel was a bit outdated. Bathroom is really small. If you are looking for ocean view make sure you mention it or you will be in one of the other 2 buildings with no view. Also make sure to request the size of bed you want or you end up with twin beds. It is an ok place to stay if you’re on a budget. No elevators.

From start to finish, this hotel was everything I expected but sadly the evening food wasn't good at all in the restaurant.when I ordered room service in the mornings, the food was good and the delivery was fast.Housekeeping and maintenance took excellent care of my room whenever I had to call if I had a problem.Unfortunately this was my last time to visit Barbados. so I'll say my Goodbyes and thanks to the staff at Dover Beach hotel in St Lawrence gap.

I love the bar and restaurant on the property. I did not like that the bar closes early, especially on weekend. Some of the roads leading to the property need repairs.
