We checked in and the whole place smelled musty. The staff was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. When I first checked the room the sheets had crumbs and the bathroom had long hair in the sink. This hotel is in outskirts of downtown and NOT in a good area. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book here.

The hotel itself was nice but has some indications it was an older building and has been renovated. We attended a Cardinals Game and visited the Arch. Unfortunately, with the current economic climate there were several homeless people hanging around the immediate area. There were no issues with any of them but it made some family members cautious. We visited in 2020 and this was not the case. The hotel does have security features set in place. The kitchen staff for breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful. One even helped out our youngest make his waffle.

The property is 2 blocks from the Gateway Arch. It’s also 2 blocks from the convention center metro station which has a direct connect from the airport. The only thing they can improve on is the house keeping. When checkin they never said house keeping is not done daily but alternate days. It will be good to tell guests upfront of the same and also provide daily housekeeping on request.

The location was perfect for us and the activities we had planned! There was some construction still going on and the highway noise during the morning hours was a little loud. Not many places really close to grab a bite to eat, had to walk a bit to get something to eat.
